"This is our second stay at this property and is our favorite hotel.
The Abbaye is in a beautiful location with log views down to Marseilles and the premises, services and setting are impeccable; staff friendly and attentive.
Scheduled and enjoyed a massage without any fuss or problem.
Dinners were delicious and the hotel has easy access to nearby Salon-de-Provence, a charming town with tree-lined streets and fine restaurants. An excellent walking town.

"Typical B&B hotel, basic but clean with on-site parking. Helpful staff, breakfast available but very limited local dining options. Peppino's pizzeria - run by the slightly nutty and very funny Vincent ("Van-sonn") - is a 10 minute walk / 2 minute drive away.
Fine as an overnight stop but not recommended for longer stays purely due to location."

Beautiful location, and grounds. Charming buildings and excellent place to have dinner and take in the view. Food and food service were top notch. The decks on the suite are a fantastic place to relax after a day of exploring with sweeping views with a lot character. The staff were all very helpful (exception of one preoccupied with personal phone so as to forget about our request for drinks to be delivered to poolside, got remedied after the second visit to front desk 30 minutes later). ...

The hotel owner was so accommodating and kind—great with corresponding. The option to purchase parking in the nearby garage was easy and I’m glad I did it, as I arrived in the evening and street parking wasn’t readily available. The garage is a little tricky to understand navigating in it (one set of steps is odd floors, the other even floors), but I was given good directions (and a map!) for the area when it came time to walk back home. The hotel itself is in a great walkable location, was...

We loved this place from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room which was comfortable and clean, small and simple. We threw open the shutters and windows to catch the cool breeze and sunset. We took a quick swim as the last rays of warm sun shone. We had a wonderful 3 course dinner and wine for two and then breakfast in the morning, both outside and enjoyed the view of the gardens and surrounding fields, all of which were bathed in light reminiscent of a Vangough painting. This property is absolutely amazing. It was clearly built as a labor of love by the owner, Jourdan. Gorgeous stone and marble construction. Beautiful pool area with views down to the farmlands and Luberon mountains of Provence. Stephanie was incredibly helpful with all aspects of our visit. The Petit Déjuener is superb with wonderful pastries, baguette, fruit, cheese and meats. Great Cappuccino! And various juices and locally made yogurt.

First of all, the location is just great. Right around the corner from the Musee Granet, only about 4 short blocks over from the Cours Mirabeau and oldest part of the city, less than 10 minutes (on foot) to the Fontaine de la Rotonde, and not far from the Hotel de Caumont museum. The street is very quiet, and has no cars - except taxis that can lower the access control posts. Just a block from the Rue d'Italie, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
