Top Lamoreaux Landing Hotel Reviews
The Hotel Laurel at Seneca
10/10 Excellent
"What a gem of a property! I came to see what the other reviewers were talking about and it was worth it -- they kept the footprint of a typical motel from days gone by but updated it to suit the times and it was well done! looks like it was updated not too long ago. My other fave part of this property is the ingenious architecture enabling every room to have a lake view. It was really nice to watch the sunrise from my bed in the morning. We had two issues while there - one, we were awaken at 5am by trucks unloading supplies to the property restaurant... they were so loud it sounded like bombs going off. Very inconsiderate. The other very real issue is the bathroom -- it has no vents which means a steamy wet room and a bathroom smell eventually. So you try to fix it by leaving the bathroom door open TO YOUR BEDROOM and so the slight smell of the bathroom waffles into your living area. AND FOR THE OWNERS -- you really want to invest in a ventilator for your bathrooms or soon enough you will find the bathrooms (and eventially, adjacent walls to the main units) moldy. And when that happens, it's going to be a more expensive maintenance expense for your property. Good luck! Love your place otherwise! (p.s. location is great - just a short ride 5 mins from town)"
Hampton Inn Penn Yan

"Awesome location right on the water on Keuka Lake"
Savannah House Wine Country Inn & Cottages
8/10 Good
"The proximity of the rooms is much closer to the busy Rt 14 than the lake."
The Inn at Glenora Wine Cellars
10/10 Excellent
"It’s was an awesome place for our mother daughter getaway! Views are amazing and the weather was perfect. I only wish the coffee was stronger!"
The Anchor Inn and Marina
10/10 Excellent
"Staff here is super friendly & accommodating. Room was perfect for the needs of us 3 sisters; bathroom & sleeping area are more than large enough, refrigerator size is great, towels are large, parking space for total number of guests is JUST enough, breakfast is prepackaged meals, mini-crumb cakes, apples & what seems to be watered-down coffee (in smaller-than-average cups), walls are thin but sliding doors to shared balcony diminishes outside noise. View of lake is great, Tiki Bar is fun & entertaining. Location to town is good. Only downside are the all-day & night semi-trailers barreling past on the 2-lane road en route to the nearby salt plant. The owner of the Anchor Inn has begun construction of more rooms, situated between the lower motel rooms & upper cottages. Those new rooms will each have jetted tubs on their private balconies."
Colonial Inn & Creamery

"Parking is free, free wifi. 2 minutes walk to the Watkins Glen state Park."
Inn at Taughannock Falls

"The Inn was perfect. The staff were friendly. The free breakfast was enough to get us through our hiking adventures for the day."
The Falls Motel - 2 Mi to " Watkins Glen State Park, Seneca Lake " AND 4 Mi to Watkins Glen International Track " The Glen "
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. We needed an additional pillow and got it from the office immediately. Even though there were other guests, we didn't hear them. It was very quiet. The room had a dark wood theme that was perfect for the location. Plenty of parking. The staff was available as needed well in to the night, with a call number after 11;00. I have been there before and would go back if I stay in the area again."
Lakeside Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel boasts a phenomenal view of Seneca Lake. Sitting in front of the massive, lush lawn while taking in the lake view was such a relaxing and peaceful experience. I booked the Garden View King Room, which was spotless, fully equipped with everything we needed, and exceptionally quiet. A special shout-out to their breakfast—it was delicious and definitely worth trying! On a side note, I loved meeting Rocky, the hotel's resident dog. He is super cute and has a very cool personality! Highly recommended!"
