It's close enough to shopping destinations, yet removed enough to be a quiet retreat for you and your whole family -- to include your dog! The host is super responsive and friendly. "This stay was super pretty and was perfect for our girls trip! The host was very communicative and the view couldn’t be beat. It should probably be mentioned that you can’t drink the water or use for cooking unless it’s boiled. That might be common knowledge for those who live here, but we weren’t aware. So just a heads up to those coming, they do provide gallon jugs, but you have to replace at the end of your stay. "

"The house is in a great location, however the interior is in need of better clarification and cleaning when we arrived. All bedrooms, it turns out are upstairs although there is a master bedroom downstairs that appeared to be under construction when we arrived, along with a dirty towel hanging in the master bathroom. When we contacted the host , he stated the room was never advertised and shouldn’t be used ( why not just seal it off or state that specifically in the advertisement) We are able bodied and managed to get luggage upstairs ( elevator didn’t work) We found dirty dishes and coffee pot beside the sink in kitchen and no dishwasher supplies provided. Only one bedroom has a TV although pictures in advertisement show otherwise. The sleep number bed didn’t work and Although the ad states use of garage, we found no way to open the garage other than from the inside. A house “instruction” book would be a major improvement with this property. Again, the house is located in a great area and we had a great time in Maine, just had some disappointment in the condition and usefulness of the property in general. "

"My partner and I desperately needed a full reset getaway and this couldn't have fit the bill more. We also had our dog with us. This was (as described and intended) isolated and quiet and tranquil. The house is also incredibly designed on the interior. At first blush, you could look past it, but every inch of this home is designed with intention and mindfulness to the vibe: oceanside, secluded, rustic, authentic. It's awesome. Highly recommend. "

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a peaceful and relaxing time at Sea Ledge North. The house has been redone and is comfortable. We enjoyed the extras such as phone chargers and fusbol.The only drawback is that the bedrooms are downstairs and the bathroom is upstairs. We plan to return in the spring!"
