They call it the smallest hotel in Sweden, and they’re not exaggerating — four rooms, no front desk, no lobby, no one in a blazer asking for your confirmation number. What there is instead: a genuinely cozy room that’s clearly looked after, two shared bathrooms (so despite what “shared bath” might make you picture, I never once had to wait), and a secluded little patio out back that turned into my favorite spot of the whole trip. The whole thing feels less like checking into a hotel and more like staying at your in-laws’ place — the good in-laws, the ones with the nice guest room and the coffee already on. If you want anonymous and sterile, go elsewhere. If you want somewhere that feels like someone actually lives there and wants you to be comfortable, book it.

Very cosy hotel

Extremely cosy hotel, 2 bathroom was shared between 3 room, not a problem as they were clean and tidy. Location only a few minutes walk from city center pedestrian street and less than 10 minutes walk from Citadellet and the ocean.

Disappointed

Calling this place hotel is wrong, hostel is more fitting name for it. Our room was a former shop on the groundfloor with shopwindow people walking by outside. That window could not be opened and the ventilation was poor. There was a strong, very disturbing scent of mold all over the room and bathroom. The bathroom door could not be closed. On the day of arrival we receive notice that the hotel Breakfast which was included was changed due to the café was summerclosed. Instead we were offered to help ourselves preparing a really dull breakfast in a pentry lacking daylight. Offered food was supermarket bread and cheapest possible coldcuts and sliced cheese, some dairy products in insufficient quantity and bad coffee. The emerency exit was incorrectly signed in the kitchen and the emergency plan did not match the floor plan in the room.

Völlig überteuert, Frühstück war in einer nahen Bäckerei möglich, sollte aber bezahlt werden, obwohl die Buchung inklusive Frühstück war, wo ist eigentlich der Aussenpool? Dieses Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wie das Hotel zu den guten Bewertunen kommt ist ein Rätsel. Keine Rezeption, Kein Personal
