The Incognito #1 is located steps from The Scotsman General Store and very convenient walking distance from downtown. Enjoy a stylish ground floor experience at this centrally-located AirBNB. The Incognito #1 is located in a historic building built in the 1940's that was originally a mechanic shop. This unit is newly finished. Included is a 1 Bedroom (1 King), 1 Bath ( Shower / Bath tub), Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave.

With this unit you will experience what made Laurel, Laurel. As you look out the unique architectural windows, you will have access to the rail line that gave Laurel its prominence while also carrying musicians and artists to New Orleans, Chicago, and all along the eastern coastal cities. We are very excited to share this experience with our guests. You will hear the train / Amtrak and also see its daily travels and enjoy the sites that it brings.

* Just as a note, the train tracks are located to the east. So you will hear the train occasionally. Also of note, most all of the AirBNB's in the Downtown Area are located so that you will hear the train. It is just one of the unique aspects of Downtown Laurel.

This is a stylish, well-appointed suite, with the uniqueness of being in an old historic industrial building. But, if you're the type that has difficulty falling back to sleep after being awakened, I think two freight trains came in overnight last night. They're up front about it and many downtown locations have the same issue, but it's an issue nonetheless. Hangers in the closet would have been nice, and a small dresser would have been appreciated, as would a couple of boxes of tissues. Finally, and I'm sure there's a "logical" reason behind the requirement, but my idea of hospitality does NOT include expecting ones guest to take out their trash when they checkout. If the noise isn't an issue, it's beautiful, comfortable, and a great value!

Great little getaway

We went to Laurel to visit the town. We didn't think we would spend much time back at the VRBO, but we enjoyed the apartment like setting quite a bit so we stayed back at the room and watched movies and enjoyed the atmosphere. Thanks again!

Awesome place to stay while visiting Laurel. Walking distance to downtown shops and the Scotsman. We love Laurel it was fun to see in real life. We watch Hometown all the time. Very friendly town. Would stay and come back again.

Short stopover

My husband and I spent 2 nights in Laurel on our way to Houston. We had a great time. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was literally a block from the Scotsman General Store and 2 blocks from town. Everything was in walking distance. Perfect location for shopping, eating, and relaxing. Would definitely recommend. Hope to come back ourselves.

This was me and my wife's second time staying at Eric's Incognito VRBO and we both HIGHLY recommend it. The location is terrific, within walking distance to everything we want to see (literally a block/3 minute walk to Scotsman's) and the rooms are very well done. Eric is friendly, reliable, excellent communicator and on top of whatever you may need! If there were a higher rating I'd sure give it...

Comfy modern industrial vibe renovated building

Newly renovated comfy clean modern industrial vibe respite place for our stay in Laurel. The bed was very comfortable. Eric is a really nice guy. We had a chance to meet him. Highly recommend. Close to all the renovated businesses in downtown Laurel. Sweet little southern town to spend a couple days recovering from New Orleans. Thank you Eric.

What an awesome place!

I absolutely love this place. My sister and I stayed here and it was perfect. The unit was super clean, and stocked with the basic necessities. Excellent location. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The decor is fabulous, coupled with exposed brick. Check in was smooth with no issues. The hosts are wonderful. Very kind and accommodating. Also prompt with communication. I love this place, and very much enjoyed my stay. We will definitely be back next year.

Hometown Charmer

Two of us stayed in this property over the weekend. It is a really creative use of a former garage space. The renovation of the space was done very creatively and quite well. The bedroom has a closet and a good size and comfortable bed. The living room/den/kitchen is good size with great appliances, a smart television, bar seating, and a comfortable couch and chair. The amenities are top notch and the unit was extremely clean and smelled wonderful. The location is very good for downtown Laurel and you are within three to four blocks of the historic district, Scotsman General Store is a block away. Great unit and the posting is accurate. We enjoyed our anniversary weekend and communications with the Owners was first rate and no problems encountered. Good parking off the street in a secure location. You do hear the trains that are about 1 block away during the day and night, but that was stated and should be expected if you are in the historic part of Laurel. Great vacation!

Best place to stay in Laurel.

Location was perfectly out of the way, but close to everything. We intentionally picked this place as it had good proximity to where we were focused on. It is very unassuming from the exterior, but the interior was 5 star. Great hosts, awesome accommodations. Would highly recommend.

Centrally located to downtown Laurel

The property was very clean and unique. Could see the Scotsman shop from the property. The train reminded us of home but in a good way. The bed was super comfortable, also reminded us of home. Would highly recommend.
