About eight kilometers from the long sandy beach of the Atlantic, Le Porge lies between unspoilt forests in a nature reserve between the ocean and Lake Lacanau. The popular bathing resort of Lacanau is about 18 kilometers away. You can drive to the center of Bordeaux in around an hour.
