"This stone cottage in the mountains of Malaga province was quaint and cozy. It's part of a camp site with several other such cottages, so you don't feel isolated. There's a pool, but it was closed (for the fall season?). The surrounding woods were fenced off so we couldn't hike much, but walking within the grounds was pleasant.
The directions that Expedia provided on their app, however, were wrong. They took us up in the mountains to a narrow road of dried mud with major tire grooves (thankful...
"This property sits overlooking a lake tucked into a mountain. Small but very nice. Staff are all helpful and accommodating.
Only downside is if you have a room on the second floor it’s directly under the dinning area and can be a little noisy during dinner. "

"I'm happy we were only here for one night. There's not many places where you can eat (on a Monday at least) so we ended up eating at the hotel, which was fine, but I found it too expensive for what we got.
Our first experience at the hotel, which honestly is not acceptable is that when we arrived to the hotel room we were looking at the room and bathroom where we were staying. I was going to the bathroom when I saw there was PEE on the toilet seat, just gross! So we went down to the reception...

"This place was very relaxing and we enjoyed sitting in the backyard and by the pool looking at the mountains and watching the sunset.
The listing is accurate, but I was surprised when we got there. There is no wifi. There is a tv but because there is no wifi you can’t watch much. There is an AC but it is only in the main room - however all the bedrooms have fans.
You cannot drink the water and will need to buy bottled water. I wish we had known that before we arrived because we would have brought some with us.
One set of sheets and towels were provided for each guest but there were no extra sheets or towels in the house. When we asked them to bring blankets they brought them over right away (but there were none in the house when we arrived and it was chilly the first night). The swimming pool is very nice but there were no extra towels. I am sure he would have brought some over if we had asked. But it’s nice to arrive and have these things without asking (we got in late after traveling all day and it was night time). FYI There is no bidet. "
