Pleasant host, nice base for car excursions
We were traveling around southern Italy by car, and went to Lecce on a whim. This place suited us exactly. It's a 15 minute or so walk to the historic center, but out far enough that is was always easy to park and to drive out of town for our daily excursions. The hostess was extremely helpful to us, handling the Italian side of the conversation when we had a booking problem at our next destination. By the third morning she was tailoring the breakfast to our personal tastes.

You get what you pay for
Had an apartment in a second location, via Zambelli. Quite close to the center, quiet quarter. The owner is nice a speaks some English.
