To be fair, we only stayed in the hotel as a sleepover while at a local wedding. But all of the staff were very polite and the room was clean and the bed was both large and very comfortable.
Really nice location of fit for purpose of my stay. Room was well appointed with good sense of fashion.
The only improvement I would suggest would be air-conditioning in the rooms
I really enjoyed my stay at this pub with rooms. As a solo female traveller I appreciated the discreteness of staff when checking me in. Room was lovely and comfortable, bathroom great with good powerful shower. WiFi connection good enough to do online meetings. I ate in the pub one night and meal was great,
Plenty of options for gluten free. Not far off the M1, I definitely stay there again if working in the area
Would have been nice to be able to call the hotel when we were running late, but the AI on the phone did not allow it.
Everything else was nice and we are coming back.

Lovely comfortable room, wry helpful staff, great food and a great selection of beers. couple of minor irritations, to barely works, forever pixelating and fan in bathroom didn’t work, resulting in a very steamed up bathroom.
Despite these issues we will definitely stay again.
Booked to stay for one night as going to a funeral. Lovely room with good amenities and drink options. The chocolate on the bed was a lovely touch. All the staff were delightful and so welcoming. Went out of their way to help. One item on the menu wasn’t available due to an upcoming menu change but the were happy to give me something else and make it similar for me. The rooms you could see a bit of damp and needs a new coat of paint but I am told this is happening in October. I will definitely be going back if I’m in the area and will recommend to everyone!
Large car park at rear but it was a large pub. Friendly staff and clean room. Food was good and well priced which was shown by how busy it was in the restaurant. The only negative at all for this pub/hotel was that when clearing tables after diners had left the waitress used what cutlery was left on the table to make it up ready for the next diners. How did she know that the previous people didn't sneeze on it or handle it? Not nice in my opinion
Very clean, lovely location and pretty quiet even on a friday night. Shell the housekeeper made the room spotless and the staff were all very helpful. Only 20min drive from Leicester so it was perfect.

The hotel itself was nice, but not very sound-proofed, as I could hear people in the rooms next to ours, as well as the doors opening and closing in the hallway.
We'd booked a king room and got a twin room instead. They fixed it and joined the beds together, but they didn't even have a note that the room was supposed to be a king room. Unsure if this is an issue with the hotel or the hotels.com booking system.
Hotel reception usually closes early but they were able to stay late for us, the shower was really nice, the breakfast was great! I would stay here again, but I would need to bring ear plugs lol.
Nice room. Slightly small just room to walk around bed. Staff were all great. Nice food. Our Sunday roast could have been warmer. Good breakfast and lovely dining areas.

Arrived late afternoon on Sunday evening. Unfortunately I was left standing with all bags at room reception desk until I must have given someone a look.
A lady, whom I think was the manager, was attentive and explained everything and checked me in. However it was obvious she was running around trying to sort everyone and everything. But I was checked in and happy to go to my room. Room was really nice.
Decided to have quick shower to get ready for dinner. Unfortunately the shower filled up very quickly and had to rush before it overflowed onto the bathroom floor!
Down at dinner I was sat down quickly enough and ordered my meal. It came out quickly and was nice. However, once again, after finishing I was left sitting on my own with eaten food in front of me for nearly 20 minutes. It felt I was just left. I wasn't asked about another drink, or even dessert.
After enough waiting I decided to go to the bar area and ask for a drink and bill (I didn't want to wait any more for dessert). Whilst waiting in the queue at the bar, the original lady who checked me in spotted and asked if I wanted anything. She came with my coffee and bill straight away (thank god for her!).
Went back to room and slept in the comfy bed. However 0530 I was woken up by a swinging door that needs oiling slamming away over and over. It sounded like it was below the room. That was it, off to the blocked shower again before work.
Breakfast was completely different. Service was great. Easy and good food
Very clean, lovely staff, good food options. We stayed 3 nights and should have booked a bigger room rather than standard but facilities great. Parking was busy on the Friday and Saturday for people using the restaurant but still got a space and parking is free!
