Hotel Arena City in Leipzig is very conveniently located, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is not air conditioned, however, and we visited during a late summer heat wave. We had to leave the windows open, and the hotel is on a busy tram line, so it was quite noisy at night.

The hotel is central, and has an excellent standar.d The room ample and very nice, with a big bathroom. Everything is very clean. One has to know that one either has to arrive before 6PM or get in with a code; then guets will always use their card to get in. But everything is perfectly set up so there is no inconvenient whatsoever. I do recommand this hotel.

2 Nächte dort verbracht, Unterkunft total in Ordnung! Bar wird leider schon um 22 Uhr geschlossen, ein Wermutstropfen. Was mir überhaupt nicht gefallen hat, sind die Parkgebühren für das Auto! Wenn ich schon zu Gast bin und nicht wenig Geld bezahle, erwarte ich einfach einen kostenlosen Parkplatz! Personal und Zimmer absolut einwandfrei

Besser als beim letzten Besuch

Nachdem bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt innerhalb von 3 Tagen nicht einmal das Housekeeping im Zimmer war, war diesmal alles ok. Ich war allerdings auch nur eine Nacht hier. Empfang an der Rezeption ausgesprochen freundlich. Zimmer war sauber und herrlich ruhig, jedoch sehr warm. Es gibt leider keine Klimaanlage. Und dieses Mal leider auch keine Getränke, da der Getränkeautomat in der Lobby defekt war. Aber gegenüber gibt es zum Glück einen Konsum, der bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hat.

Vorsicht bei der Anreise mit dem PKW

Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr schön, und der CheckIn ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend. Allerdings ist das Hotel baustellenbedingt zur Zeit mit dem PKW nicht zu erreichen. Der kostenfreie Parkplatz befindet sich im öffentlichen Raum vor dem Stadion und ist während Fußballspielen nicht nutzbar. Leider kann man das bei der Buchung nicht erkennen. Aber ansonsten war alles OK.

Small room, missing info about check in & parking

When arriving in a car at this hotel, it is important to know that the hotel parking is opposite the hotel (the places from nr. 1 to nr. 12). When you arrive in the afternoon, there no one in the reception you can ask. You have to park your car and phone a kind of reception where you get a code to the key card to your room. The hotel do NOT inform you about this beforehand, you will have to find this out by yourself! Our room was very small, it was not possible to get out of the double bed to both sides. Really a pain in the a…, when you have to go to the toilet in the night. Hotel is placed convenient at a tram line, directly to centrum (10 min).

Ein preiswertes, gut gelegenes, sauberes Hotel

Der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel war sehr angenehm. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer angenehm räumlich und sauber. Zum Stadtzentrum kann man gut laufen und Gaststätten sind auch gut erreichbar.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, zum Zentrum, zur Arena Leipzig, zum Zoo kann man zu Fuß gehen. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in den Straßen rund um das Hotel ausreichend. Das Zimmer ist okay für einen Kurzurlaub, für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre es uns zu klein. Es fehlt an einer Klimaanlage, im Zimmer war es sehr warm und ein geöffnetes Fenster war wegen des Straßenlärms auch nicht das Idealste. Das Personal am Empfang war freundlich und Ein- und Aus-Checken ging schnell und problemlos. Großes Manko für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel war allerdings, dass man keinerlei Möglichkeit hatte, an ein Getränk zu kommen. Es gibt keine Bar, die Minibar im Zimmer war leer, der Getränkeautomat im Foyer außer Betrieb.

ÜN in Leipzig

Das Hotel befindet sich unweit der Arena / des Stadions. Wer also ein Konzert oder Spiel besuchen möchte findet hier ein Hotel in optimaler Lage. Der Empfang ist freundlich, die Zimmer sind ebenso zu empfehlen, alles sauber. Die zentrumsnahe Lage ist ein großer Pluspunkt. Zum Markt, den Geschäften und Passagen ist es nicht weit, der Bahnhof ebenso.
