Be aware there is no AC in the rooms. I also don’t understand why house keeping had to open my room 3 times before check out time. If you ask for extra towels they look at you like your crazy. Breakfast staff was nice!

My observation

My room was on the right hand side of the first floor. I traveled alone, so I felt my room was big enough. The batheroom and the small kitchen inside my room are modern and clean. The beds looked like new. The desk, chair, and closets are also modern and clean. The windows are big and modern.

Pictures were different than acrual rooms. Rooms were dirty, old, worn. Stains loose fuxtures and smells. Bathrooms stink and toilet leaked. Stay away! We switched hotels after one night.

Well, it is a ved for the night. Not my first choice, but you get what you pay for. So fair enough. Almost an in house Greek restaurant. Practicable.

This is a non-air conditioned hotel located very far from anything and in an industrial park area. Street parking is difficult among all the tractor trailers. The night staff were curt, unfriendly, & disorganized. They gave us keys to an already occupied room!

The room was not prepared properly. The toilet had no toilet papers or towels in the bathroom. Had to make the trip to reception to ask for the basic things. The hot water kettle has lots of calcium build up

Worst property I’ve ever stayed in I travel all over the world the rooms were dirty the blow dryer did not work and the bathroom I had to go downstairs terms were never cleaned when I asked the hallways were dirty the staff upfront was not helpful at all unbelievable I felt like I should’ve gotten all my money back your Wi-Fi is the worst there are different Wi-Fi codes each person and then it doesn’t work and you have to go and get a new one like every hour not worth and stay don’t go to this hotel

The price is quite convenient for a short stay . The localisation is in an industrial area far from the center but with 1 tram connection you can connect with city center in 15 minutes . Check in was not a pleasant experience , was informed to me that my room was the 436 that does not exists! Was half an hour in the 4th floor searching for my room that do no exist…. I the 4th floor last room is the 435. Seemed like a joke. Room itself has some maintenance problems (carpet was dirty , no air conditioner , some i blinds are broken , 1 room glass is popped . The room had a lot of space and access to a balcony but without air conditioner in a night with 30 degrees is not pleasant . I believe can be found better accommodation options in Leipzig

Terrible stay

Listed as a four star hotel - how can that be? We arrived around 9 p.m. The reception was like 'get in here, and let's get the papers done' (not friendly). The walk to the room was OK, but the room was really bad. It was a mix of really old furniture and some newer that seemed like hand-downs from some other Novum hotel. The furniture was placed randomly in the room. It was not clean. The bathroom was also a mix of old and new. Paint stains all around on the tiles and the sink and lightings. And then there was noice all night long from trafic. How can this hotel be listed as a 4 star? I've stayed in many hotels around Europe - also som nice Novums. Aviva Leipzig Neue Messe does not meet the standard. Sorry, cannot recommend and will not be back.
Shower screen door old and jamed.

Cabinet randomly placed. No funktion. Seems like hand-down from other Novum?

Very bad hotel with very bad staff

Firstly the room they gave us didn’t have ventilation and was like a sauna. Ask at the receptionist and the answer was just “open the window”. Also asked for the hotel’s parking and the answer was “around”. Later I asked again for another room to another receptionist and he gave us another room…a very bad and dirty room. After the 1st night I heard the cleaning lady at the corredor so I add the “do not disturb card” to the door. When we left the room, 10:30am the cleaning lady was next to our room, I took off the card from the door, but in the end of the day no one cleaned the room. To end in a great way, when we were getting ready to leave the door, some man opened the door from our room and if I haven’t speak he would just go in… I can’t understand how that hotel was rated as a 4 star hotel…

The room itself was spacious, the beds good, quick warm water in the shower and practical windows that can be left opened a little bit at the top. What I didn't like about the room itself is that there were no drawers, no rack for drying towels in the bathroom, the lights in batch room going out whilst showering and the drain clogged up with hairs. But above all noisy: even snoring of a neighbor could be heard. The hotel is situated in an industrial area which means noise from an expedition centre opposite the hotel in the middle of the night. It's my understanding that there should have been a mention of possible noises on the website according to german consumers rights. I didn't get the single comfort room I've booked with a little kitchenette with a fridge as shown on expedia's website and to this day I don't know why. I've tried to sort this out with the reception, but was told that such a kichenette is only available in the more expensive in the business room. Fact is that I've seen in reality such a room as shown on expedia's website while it was being cleaned. One of the receptionists was quite rude in her language.
