"A bit older, mostly because no AC but it is being installed apparently. Room was older but clean. The view from the balcony was stunning. Great location for visiting places as Interlaken, Thun and others are all less than 30 minutes away. We never used the restaurant but it was always busy. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"Due to my late arrival and early departure, I did not interact directly with staff, only through messaging. However, they were VERY attentive and super helpful. The room and facility were clean and organized. It’s not the newest place in the world, but is very well kept and quite charming. I had absolutely not complaints. With the recent heat wave, the fan that was in the room was a welcome treat! Thanks for a very pleasant stay!!"

"Staff were quite cold and at checkout the lady was even quite rude when there was some confusion about in house outstanding restaurant bill kind of shined the entire experience. There was also a wedding there that basically took over the entire hotel and beach access while we were there. I would suggest making sure no weddings are taking place while you’re there. They didn’t even have an extra ice bucket or ice as the wedding was using them all and drained their ice machine. Pretty...

"Highly recommend this hotel. The most unbelievably incredible view of the alps and Lake Thun (make sure you book a balcony room). Wonderful breakfast included (not just continental). Sauna, steam room wellness spa on premises. Friendly people, and cute mountain town; just about 15 minutes from Interlaken. Loved this hotel, we returned and booked another night after some traveling around the area."

"This hotel was an amazing retreat during our month long city hopping trip. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, right next to laundry room, excellent breakfast, and even had a private balcony where we would sit each night and reflect on the day. Very close to train station and grocery store, plus our host gave us a handy map to use. "The room was fine and clean. The door locked and we felt safe in the room. HOWEVER if you can stay elsewhere, do so. The rooms are incredibly hot and loud. These rooms are warm even compared to those we have stayed in in far warm climates. You are basically 1 meter away from 5 bars/restaurants which have closing hours of 11 pm but they do not seem to quieten down until well after that.
