Staff are so lovely and helpful. We were met from the boat on mushroom beach and they helped us back to the beach with bags when left. The accommodation was tranquil and relaxing.

Amazing stat, staff and surroundings

Wonderful place. Wonderful staff. Amazing location. We had the best time in the villa - undoubtedly the best place we stayed in our whole Bali trip. The villa is amazing, only the kitchen could need a little upgrade- the rest is stunning. Great service from the team - we felt very welcomed and got good help arranging tours, scooters and more. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you for having us.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Property was super cute & a few minutes walk from the best swimming beach on the island. Loved the relaxing vibe. There were a few negatives, mainly being the cleanliness. As the photos online were so amazing, I was a little bit disappointed. In saying that, If these little things were fixed I would give it a 5/5 and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. - mould on the bed canopy. As you look up when in bed, I could see big spots of mould. Knowing that the canopy doesn’t get cleaned, I had to keep moving it behind the bed as I didn’t like my kids touching it. - the hammock (brown one) outside our room had a huge spot of mould/stain. - lounge chair outside was filthy. I wouldn’t use it unless I had my sarong covering over it. - no where to hang wet pool towels & they don’t get replaced. I resorted to putting our dining chairs in the walkway with our towels over them so they got some sun. - walls are crumbling and there was a hole right next to the bed where the bedside table is. - area under & behind the bed had very thick dust and needs a deep clean including the bed frame. I still loved the place but these small things that could easily be fixed would make this place amazing.

We had the most wonderful stay at Castaway! The staff were beyond lovely and so helpful with anyone we asked. The hotel is gorgeous and perfect if you were travelling with other people - shared pool which is quite close to everyone else’s rooms but it makes for a nice relaxing environment anyway. It’s walkable to mushroom beach, super easy and close, The ONLY negative is the bar across the road plays louddd live music every night until approx 10-11pm but in all honesty it didn’t really effect us sleeping and we had 2 kids (2 and 5). We 10000% will be coming back to castaway - we had the best time!

Lovely, conveniently located property with easy access to one of the best beaches in the island, Mushroom Bay. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Friendly staff on hand to cater to needs. Can’t fault this quiet laid back retreat.

Coming from a five star hotel the previous night we may have been a little distracted by the smaller bed and humble room but the staff and the personal vibe more than made up for that! We loved our stay here and will definitely return.

November in Castaway

We had a wonderful quiet stay at Castaway for 10 nights late October - early November 2022, it's just a few mins walk from the ferry, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the free breakfast until 11:00 was a good bonus, the pool and accommodation were a very good standard, easy access to restaurants, shops, scooter hire, supermarkets...i recommend this as a great place to stay on Lembongan

Glass doors don’t lock, front gate to private villa don’t lock either. Didn’t like that at 7am they were outside villa cleaning - the villa has all full glass doors. Not private at all. The villa is very run down, in bedroom 3 all the paint is falling off the walls, TV didn’t work either. Main bedroom bathroom, 1 sink was broken, towel hooks broken and towel rail. We stayed 4 nights and no new towels or sheets cleaned. Was very disappointing when charged over $1700 for 4 nights. Staff were friendly but disappointing about the villa.
