The room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable. Well maintained and easily accessible to the transport and the local town. The staff in particular were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us and ensure that our stay was memorable. The breakfast was also really good.

Lovely double room at the front of the hotel, had evening food in the restaurant which was lovely, generous portions ! And staff very helpful. We were so pleasantly surprised as we’re staying for a wedding locally rather than drive home. Great value

We have stayed at this hotel before and returned because we enjoyed it and it was just as good this time. The restaurant/bar area is attractive and modern with character and style. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great quality. The rooms could do with a renovation however, to bring them up to the same feel as the rest of the hotel as they are slightly dated.

Lovely staff and hotel. Stayed in a single room for two nights. Very loud group of people on Saturday night. Walls very thin. They were very loud in the Sunday morning too. Lots of door slamming . I did not say anything to staff. The staff of the hotel were kind and very helpful.

It’s a nice vonvenient place to stay, either a mice bar, good food and friendly staff. The breakfasts are really exceptional when you can literally pick what you want and I loved thee choice of eggs. However the rooms are the let down. Somewhat dates, shower with curtains, lovely old sash windows but wobbly and loose which rattle in the wind. Beds are comfortable though and the rooms cleaned every day. It’s a nice older style hotel, pretty comfy, great staff and breakfasts but just a tad dated.

Plus: the staff are great, the food good. negative: : the rooms need a revamp, We had luke warm water on day one and cold water day 2 ( reported to receptionist who was the only member of staff that showed little interest!!) and a rattling bedroom window that had to be stuffed with a bath mat. The lift!!!!! Well that is an experience!!! Plus: there were plenty of parking spaces. That’s my review, it a sandwich of good, bad and good.

Great location and super friendly staff

All of the staff from the waitress to the cleaners were lovely. We had a lovely staff, the chefs are excellent too, and we had great breakfast and evening meals.
