Perfect get away

West Twin Lake cottage

Very spacious property, both inside and out. Pictures don’t do it justice in terms of size. Fully equipped kitchen. Lake is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Great house with great hosts

Fabulous experience — Lovely house. Great bed and view in primary bedroom. Wonderful yard and lake access. Clean. Comfy living room. Wonderful engagement from hosts. Only challenge was walking our dogs in the morning. We hope to return in the future.

Great visit!

We had a wonderful time! My grandkids loved the lake and beach, and had our crew been older we would’ve played cornhole, in the very generous yard😊. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped. We have reserved the same two weeks for next year.

Summer Vacation

We had a great time at this lake house and reserved it for next summer before we checked out! We had 11 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and was very clean. The owners were great to communicate with on any questions we had. We are looking forward to coming back next summer!

Summer Cousin Time

Beautiful property for a family get together our grandchildren 18-5 years old. The kids enjoyed having a yard to play games in and not just sand. The shallowness of the lake was great for the young as well as teens. The house was exceptionally clean and supplied with all you need.

The Lake House - 2021

We had the best time at the Lake House. You can stay busy boating & fishing or relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake shore side. Our hosts were awesome and we look forward to the next opportunity to stay at the Lake House in Lewiston!

Home Away From Home!!

I’m embarrassed of my handwriting after reading all of those nice messages in the guest book so I’ll type mine lol… we were so impressed w the accommodations and how comfy and clean this home is. Definitely agree w everyone that this feels like a home away from home. We just bought property in Lewiston and wanted to stay for a long weekend and check out the area more, and very happy with our new “neighbors” Would love to experience this lake house in the summer! Water toys galore!

The house offer the perfect lake experience. We have a 9 and 11 year old. They loved using the two paddle boards, lily pad and paddle boat. The adults did too! Very shallow lake. Great for kids and beginner water-skiers. Thank you for an enjoyable week away.

Lakeside retreat

Our family enjoyed our time at the cabin. Enjoyed swimming in the lake, using the boats and campfires. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Everything was clean. If you don’t want to run the heat at night, you might consider bringing a few extra blankets. Plenty of towels and beach towels available. Front yard was great for games and the children running around.

great option for Lewiston lake house

The house and property were great. What we liked the most: House was spacious, clean, and well stocked. We appreciated all of the extra beach towels. The lot was very deep and wide so plenty of room outside. Nice fire pit. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful with the one issue we had. Nice beachfront and boat parking options. Nice to be able to borrow the kayaks and extra chairs. Well water tasted great. The only thing we didn't love was the pull out sofa as a sleeping space. It might be okay for kids though. Overall it was a great lake house.

A lakeside Treasure

We enjoyed the perfect up north getaway. The lake house was everything we'd hoped for and more. It was just as described had everything we would need from towels, linens, and space - the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and everything was clean and organized. The location is near a local grocery store(less than 10minutes) so very easy to make a run if you need anything at all. We had a bonfire every night, admired the stars, the songs from the loons,made smores, and used the grill. My husband played a round of golf at garland and we took a day trip to ocquenoc falls the rest of the time we just relaxed at our perfect lake house and enjoyed the views. It was our first time in Lewiston and it is just what up north is all about WE LOVED IT.

WEST LAKE SUMMER FUN 2023

This VRBO was perfect for our family vacation. We had 6 children between the ages of 7 to 14 and they all had a blast. Lots of water toys for all of them. The Lake is very clean and does not get deep for a long way out. There is a sandy beach area where the kids can play. The cottage is set with a large front yard for outdoor games. The cottage has ample space so that 11 of us did not feel like we were running into each other. We used all of the beds including the couch pull outs. The kitchen is amply supplied with dishes, pots and pans, crock pot, silverware and a microwave. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. The owners are right next door should you need anything and very nice.

Last days of summer were well spent here.

We were two couples and this place was perfect. The bedrooms are separated and there is plenty of privacy. The kitchen was large and had almost everything we needed (don’t forget to bring your marshmallow roasting skewers!) The large dining table and large family room were great and accommodated us easily. (Don’t forget some extra TP and paper towel). We used the fire pit for the chilly evenings (wood is available) and enjoyed stand up paddle boarding and kayaking a couple miles up the lake. (Kayaks are small but really fun - we are big people). The lake is the clearest water I have ever seen. Mostly sandy bottom, a little squishy but not too much. Even non-lake people would like it. The water is super shallow, you can go very far out and not be over your head. So great for kids and newer paddle boarders (me). Nice dock and wooded lot provides some shade, but nice places to soak up the sun too. Plastic Adirondack chairs were great as we easily moved them around from the camp fire to the beach and sat in the water. This is as good as a rental gets. Don’t pass it up. Sandra (owner) was super attentive and very gracious. Thank you for a wonderful time in your lake home for the end of summer. We will be back!

Winter weekend

Beautiful, relaxing lake house

Enjoyed our week at the lake house with all the comforts of home. The owners are wonderful hosts, the lake is perfect for swimming and water sports, and the house is well-stocked with everything you might need. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back!
