Sit on the large porch and enjoy the pleasant breeze. The cottage has window AC’s for those warm summer days and central heat for those chilly nights. This was a great place to get together w friends and family, close to the beach, private back yard w plenty of seating and fire pit. The front porch is cozy and inviting, inside was very clean, spacious w nice furniture and comfortable beds.

Lovely Cottage

What a hidden gem!

We love the Lake Huron/Thumb area. The lake is peaceful and so many cute hidden neighborhoods. This cottage is perfect for a getaway. Open floor plan and plenty of space for everyone.

Great price and nice cottage! Nice area not far from the beach. Lots of rules. Only negative is the grill wasn’t gas, so no grilling unless you want to buy a bunch of extra stuff just for one meal. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely house and location, great host

This was our third time staying at this house, which I think says it all! Adults and kids alike enjoy the house and its proximity to a private beach. We love relaxing out on the comfortable front porch, and walking the beach in search of beach glass. It is close to downtown Lexington, which we also enjoy. Crystal is a great host - good communication and very accommodating.

Cutest little beach cottage with great location

Nice clean cottage, stocked with alot of little extras to sweeten the stay! Everything you need to relax and kick back. I LOVED the beach for rock collecting and found some keepers! AWESOME breakfast just down the road at a really reasonable price and enough that we weren't hungry even by supper time. Crystal is also very responsive with any questions. Perfect Place for our group

This property was a wonderful layout for our 2 families, which consist of 4 boys ranging 8-11 and 2 couples. The bedroom/loft area was perfect for the boys to have their own space and the adults could enjoy peace and quiet on the main floor. The property was very clean and nicely updated. There were plenty of pillows for everyone, but luckily we brought two sleeping bags because we could not find linens for the futon bed. Even though we stayed during the fall time, it was still nice to be able to walk down to the beach so the boys could throw the football and skip rocks. I would highly recommend this for your next stay.

Nice but could be better

The cottage was quaint and decorated nicely. Comfortable beds and close to the beach. The negative side is the kitchen was under stocked, it seems we were missing needed items for meal preps and had to wash glasses daily to have enough. The coffee mugs were sticky dusty. The porch was filled with spider webs, the fire wood we paid for was wet and bug covered. The garbage bags were oversized for the kitchen trashcan. All in all we enjoyed our stay but it would have been better with some deep cleaning. We would stay here again in hopes that our review helps the owner to recognize what they may not know.
