The hotel was very good but unfortunately the receptionist at the time i checked in could find no record of the fact that i had paid the hotel bill back in Feb 2025, so i had to pay the bill before she would give me my room access. In effect i was paying twice !!. I queried this strongly at the time but the receptionist was adamant that she could find no record of my payment. Eventually later on that evening after speaking to the manager she acknowledged that I had indeed paid and she could only refund me in Euros which i subsequently lost money during the conversion back to sterling in the UK. I do not want to get the receptionist in any trouble but i do feel slightly annoyed that the hotel,s records did not show my previous payment and that i had to carry a large amount of Euros around in my wallet. Apart from that the hotel was very good, it was clean,good facilities and the breakfast was excellent.
