  • Completely updated room as of April 2025!! 3rd floor ocean & pool view. Our condo hotel room offers one of the best views on the property! If a gorgeous well kept resort is what you're looking for, look no further. Enjoy a cup of coffee in your room or lanai admiring the waves. Our room has a large mini fridge to keep your afternoon food and drinks cold after your Kauai adventures or enjoy a drink at the resort's poolside bar. There are 4 pools surrounded by lush, meticulously kept landscaping which is truly paradise. The room has been recently updated with a new floor, coastal furnishings, air conditioning unit, lanai doors, TV and fridge. The resort is also getting updated, we’re looking forward to a new restaurant, bar, front desk area, new hallways, etc. The king sized bed will afford a luxurious night's rest in the AC or with ocean breezes. Our unit offers Tommy Bahama beach chairs to borrow for your island adventures at the gorgeous beaches of Kauai along with a cooler for lunch and drinks. There is no microwave and no cooking allowed in the unit.
    We will provide you with beach/pool towels. We provide Pantene hair products and body wash to lighten your packing. You have free in room wifi and cable tv. You can do laundry on site.
    The resort awaits those who want to "stay back". Enjoy 2 hot tubs and a refreshing swim in 1 of 4 pools. Enjoy breakfast, lunch dinner or drinks at the resorts bars and restaurant. Stop at the resort store for souvenirs, pastries, coffe or ice cream. There is a $40 per day plus taxes charged by the resort for parking.
    As a VRBO, we offer all of your linens. You can contact the front desk for key issues and may contact the concierge for advice. You can use all of the amenities of the resort but not linens, pool towels, or participate in hula, lei making classes or other activities. Because of this, you get the same experience at a better price without a daily resort fee. Rooms here generally start at $323 a night. Lovely stay in paradise

Room had everything we needed and the sunrise view every morning was fantastic! Loved the pools and resort amenities. Having a great walking beach directly accessible from the nicely maintained property was a huge bonus. Great central location to take day trips from and see every part of the island.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was fairly basic but the resort was quite lovely and we enjoyed the mile of walkable beach. The location was perfect, just outside of Kappa’a which we loved and not too far from either coasts!

Great Resort close proximity to evrything

Everything was as mentioned. The grounds are amazing. There is a sandy area along the beach, but not swimmable. Resort is within 30 minutes of Northside as well as Westside.

Great room

Check in was easy and quick. Room was as described and was great for a quick trip for the holidays. Having to pay extra for parking was annoying and on late evenings there was no parking spaces available, but the valet service was so accommodating and helpful with parking our car at no extra charge. That made the parking fee worth it. Would definitely book again.

Fantastic Hawaiian vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kauia Beach resort, room 330. The room was nicely furnished and we loved our balcony overlooking the pool area and ocean. The grounds were beautifully manicured and the pool and hot tub area was amazing. Even though the beach wasn't called a swimming beach, we found it lovely for a stroll along the beach! However, I wished we would have had more towels allotted for a seven night stay.

All was as described in the listing. The room photo is spot on. We ate a couple of times on the property. The food was good Parking is $35 a day. Self park is right there Checkout is at 10 am. Took a few tries to find where to dump our garbage

It's a great place to stay. Amazing view from the room. The room was great. No complaints there. The resort could use a renovation. The roof leaked bad in the hallways when it rained. Lot of broken tiles around the pool.

Stellar location in Lihue

I really like being in the "middle" of the island with easy access to both sides. This resort and specific room are super. Views are exceptional. Staff is friendly. The resort is very well maintained. The day after Thanksgiving the housekeeping group had the Christmas trees up. Food is yummy. Owner is great to work with.

Fun Getaway!

We booked this trip pretty last minute and are so glad that we found it! The views are absolutely amazing from the room! Worth every penny! Please keep in mind that most of the amenities from the resort are not included, but they make up for all that within the room. We had beach towels, chairs, boogie boards etc! Steve the owner is very receptive and easy to get in touch with! Enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Kauai Beach club! The property is beautiful. The view from our room (VRBO booked) was more than we could hope for! There are areas that could use a bit of cosmetic updating but that is the case at any island resort due to the climate conditions. The resort itself is warm, welcoming and very clean. Every staff member we encountered could not have been more kind or helpful. Amanda at the pool bar took great care of us during one of our pool days. The food was excellent and the Starbuck's/gift shop had about anything you may need and the staff there were amazing; they gave us many suggestions for places to go around the island. We definitely plan to be back to this resort one day!

Nice ocean view and clean room. The bed was comfortable, the larger refrigerator was appreciated, the key/wristbands were convenient, the telescoping shutters on the sliding lanai doors added privacy, and the large beach towels in addition to the bath towels were appreciated. This was our 4th trip to Kauai and second to this property and the amount of garbage and homeless individuals on the beach all the way north past the golf course was disgusting! It was heartbreaking to see! improvements to the room could include: garbage disposal service, a fan in the bathroom, an ice bucket

The room was gorgeously decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The large fridge was a plus! The owner of the unit clearly cares and accurately described the unit and fees associated so we still feel it was a 5 star stay, but there were a bunch of issues with the resort. They didn't want to let us check in until 4 pm even after I showed them email stating checkin was 3pm. The resort is very secluded and during morning hours, plan to only make a right turn out. The Outrigger had a ton of maintenence issues that were apparently ALL being addressed during our visit. The pool deck was being jackhammered and waterfalls off the one day we were hoping to enjoy them. The bar/grill was rarely open (told it was closed for weather). There is no lounge or bar in the resort anymore. So really overpriced breakfast or dinner at the one restaurant there where we were unable to get a table. No laundry available to guests even though we were told there was.

Overall the stay was nice- beautiful view, great location on the resort. We ran short on toilet paper and kleenex fairly quickly but Steve had some delivered by the end of the day. We wished the fridge was a little bigger but we made due. There were a few maintenance issues that we made Steve aware of. Hopefully he gets the lamps and door knob fixed before the next renter comes in. We would stay again.

Beach front resort

This property is privately owed and slightly separate from the Outrigger Resort. While it is on the same property, it only runs through the resort. There is full access to the amenities offered at the resort but the resort doesn’t allow cooking in the apartments. So there isn’t anything to cook with, not even a microwave in the room. There is a microwave on the 5th floor lobby that guests can use but that’s it. Guests can pay 30/meal at the buffet inside the resort. The property is beautiful with many options for those with kiddos or just as couples. Have it less than 5 star only due the listing isn’t clear on no cooking or microwaving in the room. Would rent again
