We chose this hotel for its central location and convenient walking distance to the city center. The location was excellent, and breakfast was very good with plenty of variety — definitely worth the small extra cost. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It felt cheap, with several broken items. A wall socket was damaged and sticking out, which felt unsafe. The lamp above the bed was barely secured and looked like it could fall. The bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable to use. Although the location and breakfast were positives, I would not stay here again.

The staff were lovely and accommodating. Quite disappointed with the exterior of the property and it's access area. It is within a shopping centre entrance which is often the sleeping/toileting place for the homeless. Doesn't feel very safe. The actual hotel once inside is clean and nice. Not a 3 star hotel. Very basic within the room - no kettle /coffee/tea/hairdryer etc. it is located in the town area but a 10/15 walk to the nice restaurants/shopping and bars.

Located close to the République Beaux-Arts metro station and a twenty minute walk from Gare de Lille Europe, the hotel is positioned well for those visiting the city and looking to explore. Can be accessed on the 1st floor after entry. Rooms are fairly small with a large bathrooms with fairly modern accessories. Service at the hotel was magnificent, friendly welcome and support for anything you might need at check-in

The hotel was good value for money and clean. What does let it done is the entrance from the street. It looks run down and at times had to rubbish in it. It did not give a good impression on arrival.

I booked 2 triple rooms and needed at least 1 of the two double beds to be twins. This was not possible which created some discomfort amongst the group. There was also a Roach in one of the rooms and breakfast was a disappointing with little to no hot foods. The plus side is that staff were friendly and had good customer service.

American tourists avoid

If you are an American tourist in the summer, avoid this hotel. AC was on a timer and only accessible by the front desk. Had to get up multiple times in the middle of the night from sweating to ask the front desk to turn it on. Had a baby in tow and made it miserable for him as well. Rooms are bare bones, shower is low pressure and drains are slow. Was told we even had to leave an hour before our checkout was listed online.

There was just a table in the room. Not even a cupboard to put your clothes or other belongings. The flushing hardly works. It takes up to 20min even cistem was filled again

It was good hotel to stay over 3 nights for me, easy access to local attractions. The Passage to the entrance is disappointed cos the two shops between are empty and few people sit on floor outside the premise. No tea or coffee in room.

De toegewezen kamer 248 is niet geschikt voor 2 personen, veel te klein, geen kleerkast, vloer stuk. Geen ruimte rond het bed. Gallerij bij de inkom is 's avonds geen aanrader. Een + is de goede ligging, maar pas op is een winkel/wandelstraat (voor de auto )
