Checked in late and were explicitly assured by the front desk staff that we were confirmed for the 6 a.m. shuttle to the airport. Come morning, surprise: the shuttle was overbooked and full, with no backup plan offered. When we pointed this out and tried to problem-solve under pressure, the staff were shockingly passive, unhelpful, and seemingly indifferent to the fact that we were about to miss a flight due to their incompetence.
We had no choice but to scramble and order our own Uber — which we caught just in time. Ironically, when the car pulled up, the same staff who failed to help us tried to flag it down for another guest who’d also been screwed over by their incompetence. Chaos and zero accountability.
The hotel itself is what you’d expect for a Holiday Inn — nothing more, nothing less — but the area is loud and disruptive at night. And don’t be fooled: the drive to the new airport is much longer and more painful compared to the old one.
If you need a reliable airport transfer, basic competence, or any sense of urgency from staff, do not stay here.
