The Tides Inn - Oregon Beach Vacations

The Tides Inn, located in Lincoln City, is a home that subtly boasts Nantucket architecture, nautical decor, and is completed with dune fencing. With four bedrooms and three and a half baths, this vacation home was built specifically to accommodate a large group of 12 people. The main level has been thoughtfully designed to fully accommodate wheelchair access, including a primary suite and bath. Simple, functional elegance is the nature of this home, which features special touches throughout. You'll smile at the Adirondack chairs, which were handmade from boy's hockey sticks from days and games gone by. Enter the spacious loft and find a bridge which will take you to a comfy sitting area and a deck with a northern view of Cascade Head and the beach below. The temp of the heated floor will help warm your toes. The clean lines of whitewashed pine and custom made area rugs will welcome you into each bedroom for a sound sleep. This home is pure relaxation. Located in Road's End, you'll enjoy easy access to the beach. Nearby, you can find the Chinook Winds Casino, the Lincoln City Outlets, plenty of restaurants to try, and even go antiquing. Come for the holidays and prepare a feast; plan your spring or summer family reunion; or host a corporate retreat that will be fondly remembered here at The Tides Inn.

Lincoln City home with great Ocean view

Great location, older home, but had a lot of character. We did like boat theme, sauna was a plus. The wifi was really sluggish especially downstairs. Couch upstairs seemed a little too small for the size of the area. But overerall, we liked our stay. Thank you!

Everything was fine. I think your cleaner could be more thorough. We had a dishwasher full of dirty dishes, we wiped out some cabinets and clean the refrigerator better. Also we had no sheets for pull out bed. We had a lovely time, and your home served us well.

Tides End in Lincoln City, OR

We had a great time there. It was so close to the beach and city. The place we stayed was great for us since my husband is in a wheelchair and we needed a roll in shower and ramp. I gave it four stars for cleanliness because the big table and chairs had food stuck to them and the kitchen wasn't too clean. Overall, we loved our stay there.

Quaint, spacious house near public beaches

Our extended family enjoyed our stay very much. The house is dated but well-equipped and comfortable. The hosts are very communicative. Several beaches line the area, some of which are more accessible (i.e., less rocky on entry) than others and are within either walking distance or a short drive. Nice sunset views from the 2nd floor balcony!

Safety

The SAFETY of my family is always priority for me. When we arrived the smoke detectors were squawking It was obvious the cleaning crew had just left, the kitchen floor was still wet. I called 503-528-7480 . Was told maintenance was not on duty. and someone would call tomorrow before coming out. We attempted to change batteries, with no success. At 9:00 PM I texted 503-965-5776 where again I was told someone would be out tomorrow. The fire department was called, they found the alarm detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguished were all out dated. This was very upsetting. The next morning someone came, no call and was showed everything the fire department explained to us. The shower in the basement did not drain. The heat on the main floor did no work. Using the space heater tripped the breaker.

Clean, Great layout, But no heat or dishwasher

Pros: Great layout for our needs, Great location, Place was clean and quiet, Cons: Heating system did not work. A guy came, looked at the heat system but didn’t know how to repair it. He brought us several space heaters. That night when we had all the heaters on because it was cold, a fuse was blown and the power went out! One of us was in the sauna when it first happened. We had to figure out how to heat the place without blowing a fuse everytime! Very stressful!! There was a sign above the dishwasher indicating that the dishwasher did not work. The kitchen did not have a dish rack and only had two small dish towels. We washed the dishes by hand and put them back in the cabinet. We thought of putting them in the dishwasher but the top rack was broken and nothing could be put up there. The handrail on the front steps leading up the porch is very rusty. One of us actually got a hand cut. A cut with rusty metal is not safe.

Weekend Fun

A group of friends staying a few nights at the beach. The house was very nice and spacious. Somethings could be improved upon, but overall we had a good time.

Great House

Love the property worked out well for my senior mother with a wheelchair. The only issue I came across was the heating in the house, took a fairly long time to heat up, not hours but an entire day. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay.

Great house!

This is a three level home but the main floor was perfect for the limited mobility of a family member. House was clean, close to the beach and quiet at night. Great for a large group of people as we all pretty much had our own rooms. The Sauna was a nice bonus and we also liked that there was a shower on each level. We will definitely be back!

Nice olace

Plenty of room for everyone. A few few problems with turning on a burner on the gas stove that didn’t light. Loose rug that we tripped on resulting n an injury. Directions for tv and shower would be helpful. All things necessary for a great trip. Great view. Comfortable beds. No tvs in bedrooms but 3 tvs on home which made it possible for anyone to watch.

Awesome Beach Farmhouse!

so many great things about this place! small family reunion was fantastic, AND the mobility access ramp/ada bedroom was great and the main reason I booked this home. Home looks just like the pics. Very clean, spacious/cozy. Lots of windows. Beach access super close. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood. Parking for 3 cars was great. My husband and I stayed in the loft. fyi's - watch out for the beams and low bathroom overhead cabinet! got a couple close encounters there! as others said, there is no curtain in that bathroom so yes, there's a very clear view to meet neighbors as you do your business! clip a towel over the window. otherwise loft was spacious, comfy, and great balcony view. comfy beds. Lots of linens. space heater came in handy! Kitchen: fully stocked, crockpot, blender. gas stove had small lighting issue which was reported, works well otherwise! Etc: great beachcombing, low tide adventures, neighborhood deer sightings. nice casino nearby. Grocery stores, Dollar General, eateries in close walking distance. Recommended: Yaquina lighthouse. Kodak moments everywhere, great sea glass hunting, tide pools. day use fee, like $7. Connie Hansen Garden Conservancy. EXCELLENT for flower lovers, FREE, close by. Pacific Artists' Co-op Gallery, Lincoln City. Local artists treasures. Lastly, OBV staff Kaden, Jessica were AWESOME - responsive, friendly at all hours.

Great for wheelchair access and great location.

The house was in good condition with everything we needed. We came from Colorado to take my sister who lives in Portland to the coast. Needed a wheelchair accessible place for her. This worked perfectly. The ramp to get into the house, the first floor bedroom with the en suite accessible bathroom shower all made it so convenient. For the rest of us being able to walk to the beach in just a few minutes was a real plus. A great experience in every way.

Great Beach Getaway

Our group of seven loved staying at this house. We appreciated that there were plenty of sleeping spaces, a long table for conversation and eating, and three full baths. The ADA ramp and master bedroom and bath meant that those in our group with limited mobility could join us for this beach trip. We will definitely be renting this house again.

Was not fond of the 4:00 check in that seemed a bit late for the price you pay. But absolutely loved the place and will be definitely booking again!!
