The property is very run down outside on the facade of the building, and inside, the bathrooms are in serious need of maintenance and upgrades. That said, the beds comfortable and the place is affordable. The amenities are good inside of the rooms.

Was pleased to get a better rate for a smaller room for one person. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The setting of the motel is excellent. However the bathtub floor was noticeably old and not smooth and actually deterred me from taking a shower during my one night stay.

I really liked this room. It is old and out dated, but, like an old comfortable shoe, it felt like I could relax and enjoy that we were staying near the forest and in the mountains. There is a stream outside the back window. There were fall leaves changing colors right outside. We had a large room, two queen beds, a table and two chairs, private bath, (somewhat in need of care and updating), a microwave and refrigerator. It was just so comfortable. We slept the best night at this property in a 11 day trip around New England. It's old and outdated, but very comfortable.

If you want to walk out your door and be able to wade in the beautiful Pemigewasset then this is the place. Very convenient location for local outings, cute cottages, comfy beds, working ACs. The bathroom was literally filthy though. We wore flip flops in the shower. If you can look past that, well, staying on the river was really pretty and relaxing.

Easy parking, helpful staff, comfortable bed. Room contained all amenities in working order. The bathroom floor and tub needed better cleaning. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Upon entering the room, there was a strong dank smell (it had rained, so maybe that was the cause). Using the AC helped a little. Could use a dehumidifier in the room?

The room was clean, the staff was courteous and the motel was quite. This is the second year in a row that I stayed at the Franconia Notch Motel and the reason I returned was because I was so happy with my stay last year. It is conveniently located near many area attractions. I will stay here again when I am in the area.
