We stayed here for a couple of nights and had a bit of a mixed experience. The room itself was super clean and surprisingly spacious—even though we booked last minute and got the smallest room. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, which we appreciated.
That said, there were a couple of things that took away from the overall experience. On our second night, we came back late from one of the sardine festivals and found that there was no hot water—just freezing cold. I called the front desk, and they told me to just let it run. Well, we let it run for nearly 90 minutes, and still no hot water. We both had to take cold showers that night and again the next morning.
Also, the next day around 10 a.m., a housekeeper walked into our room even though we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Turns out, someone had flipped the sign to "Please Clean Room" at some point, which was weird and honestly a little unsettling.
All in all, great room and staff, but the hot water issue and surprise visit from housekeeping made it a less-than-ideal stay.
