"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We had our own private patio and a back door that led right to the pool. The town and the people...

"Our trip to Crete Retreat was fantastic! Beautiful grounds, quiet and very enjoyable sitting in the sun near the pool having a glass of incredible Greek wine. Rob and Rachel were outstanding hosts. We got to meet their whole family. Great family atmosphere and I would not hesitate recommending this property to others. Top Litsarda Hotel Reviews

Hyperion City Hotel

Hyperion City Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel was mostly great! Good location - close to chania without being right in the old town. We had a hire car so we were able to park right on the street outside usually. The staff could be a bit friendlier, I found some of them to be somewhat rude and dismissive of our concerns. The air conditioning needs maintenance. We raised it wasn’t working which was basically dismissed by the receptionist. She checked it herself and made her own confirmation that it was fine?? The air con literally had an error code saying it needed maintenance. We had it set at 16 degrees the entire time and I can tell you did not get below 21/22 at any point. This meant it took ages for the room to cool down. This was a bit disappointing because the rest of the hotel was good"
