Honest Review – Property Was Not Clean or as Advertised
First, I want to make it clear that the property owner was very nice, professional, and communicative throughout the process. My issue was not with the owner, but with the condition of the property itself.
Based on the photos listed on this app, the property looked beautiful, clean, and inviting. Unfortunately, the actual condition was completely different.
Before I even opened the door, I could smell a strong cigarette odor. Once inside, the smell of cigarettes and cockroaches infestations smell was overwhelming. I found a large cockroach, along with what appeared to be cockroach droppings throughout the baseboards. The property was visibly unclean and unsanitary. There was sticky residue on the tables and floors, moldy food left in the dishwasher, an unpleasant odor coming from it. When I opened the kitchen cabinets, I found bugs in the silverware and food splattered throughout the inside of the cabinets. The oven was very dirty. The floors had not been properly sweptor mopped. There was old food and even fingernail left behind. The bathrooms also had mold. The bedding was just as concerning. When I checked under the sheets,I found brown discoloration and stains on the mattresses I inspected. Some of the blankets also had cigarette burns or holes.Although a few rooms appeared acceptable at first glance, the overall condition of the house was unacceptable.Unacceptable to House my family n grandmother along five children
