The staff were absolutely amazing the hotel itself was gorgeous quiet and our room was perfect.
We were staying in room 308 and unfortunately in the corner of the ceiling there was a really damp/mouldy patch it was quite a significant amount
I would 100% stay here again on the understanding of a different room.
Love this hotel. Rooms are very large and location is great. The only downside which is completely outside the control of the hotel is noisy bar / club at street level. I stayed on a Saturday and music didn’t stop until 2am.

One of the walls appeared to have a damp problem that either needed addressing or that had been fixed and just needed redecorating.
Television did not work, which I pointed out to staff on checkout.
Great location and very comfortable. But they closed the very nice cocktail bar they used to have, so you have to go out. The Spanish bar across the street is very nice.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and the position of the hotel is excellent for city centre exploration.
When the property was originally refurbished it was clearly a very nice place to stay. However it is now very run down and any repairs that have been necessary have been very poorly and cheaply done. A real shame the current owners have let it deteriorate to such an extent.

The couches in the suites were a nice addition but the air conditioning was not very good
Nice, clean spacious rooms, but no air con. Great location, near to the local bars and pier head/waterfront area. Friendly staff. However, do not come here if you require a good night's sleep.
Had a fab stay here. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a slight issue when we checked in we found that the TV wasnt working in our room so we rang down to reception and when it couldnt be fixed we then moved to a different room. Both rooms we saw were a a very generous size and with the seating area they are very much like a home from home. The hotel is literally a 2 min walk from the docks and liverpool one its probably the best hotel I've stayed at location wise in liverpool and I will definitely be looking to visit again soon.

Stayed at this hotel about 9 years and thought it was excellent. Unfortunately it does not seemed to have had any tlc since then and now looks 'tired' to say the least. Carpets look unclean and the monsoon shower and heated towel rails were just for decoration.
For an executive double room i felt let down and wouldn't rush back.
Brilliant hotel and location but on this occasion I was directly above the bar and the music went on until 1am. Previous visits have been fine when I have had stayed on a higher floor.
What I'm sure would have been nice when new, the hotel is showing signs of being tired and in need of a revamp. The room had damage caused by some form of water ingress through the roof or eaves, paint was peeling and salts were forming on the wall. The bathroom was in need of a good fettle with cobwebs above the shower (which had a broken door).
Ideal location!
The room was so spacious with a beautiful layout.
Stayed on a Friday night and we could hear music from 'Neighbourhood' next door, but this didn't have any effect on our stay.
The price is spot on for this hotel.
When staying in Liverpool again I would defiantly go back here!
