Very large room with a large bathroom super comfy bed with everything you could need/want. The staff were truly fantastic very polite and super helpful. I will definitely be staying here again and will recommend to all my family and friends

The staff were lovely and brought our breakfast out to us. We loved the balcony, and the garden was absolutely perfect for our dog. The location was perfect, and we’ll definitely be going back. It’s a bit dated, but it was extremely good value for money.

Stopped in a twin room with my brother for one night on the bottom floor, was clean, but could do with updating a little, bit of a bonus sliding doors outside to a seating area, was a nice space, 10 minutes walk to town which was very convenient. Would stay again

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly and will do anything to make your stay satisfying. There is ample parking,within walking distance of southport and its amenities. They do a very good value breakfast at £5 which includes a fry.

On the plus side, the staff are all very friendly and went out of their way to help. I was upgraded to a double room, the bed was very comfortable and the hotel peaceful. There was a bath and a shower provided en-suite. On the downside, the decor is very dated. However, it is perfectly acceptable for a short stay. The bath tap seemed to run out of hot water after a few minutes, resulting in a shallow bath water level. Overall, I like this hotel. It is the second time I have stayed and I would stay again.

We parked easily, the property was quiet & secure. The hosts were great .. so friendly, conveniently located for our needs … the breakfast was incredible value too. Yes, the property is dated, however it is all about expectations, and for the amount paid it’s a treat … if you expect the Ritz you’ll be disappointed & if you want a standard Travelodge experience again the Balmoral Hotel is not for you. It’s the 2nd time I’ve stayed & I have no reason not to return again next year.
