A great option in a match day. The hotel is unstaffed but the instructions were very clear. The room is spacious and clean for the price. Not a convenient location but easy access to local transportation taking you to the city centre.

Great wee Gem.

Great little find, has plenty of buses to Liverpool city centre and taxis arent too expensive, about 10 to 12 pounds, clean and quiet enough, its facing the docks, but even i didnt get woken by them and I'm a light sleeper. Has a great little truckers cafe exactly next door, amazing breakfasts, but not open Saturday n Sunday. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely use again.

Very clean tidy property, comfortable beds, need to be driving as there is very little near by, Industrial area, didnt like the pin number entry system as i cant remember my own pin numbers , never mind another 2 ,over all fine for a short stay

Amazing and clean, perfect for cheap trips. Room was big and very spacious and clean. Facilities are wonderful. Check in system is personless but very easy and much preferred. Train station 15 minute walk away. 👍

A great place to stay. The property is self service which I wasn't aware of when booking, but access was easy. The room was very clean and had most basic facilities. The only issue was there was no soap in the in-shower dispenser. Also, a glass or cup in the bathroom would be a welcome addition.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room for my two night stay at Dockside Lodge. The bed was a king size, the en-suite was clean and tidy and the room had a fair sized TV. There is an onsite kitchen which has everything you need for a stay and just next door there is small cafe for breakfast if you don't want to cook for yourself. The local shopping mall is a short walk away and this was really convenient for me as I was going to a gig at the Salt and Tar next door. Brilliant value for the price and well recommended.

When arriving to the accommodation. We were unable to get in the building until somebody luckily exited. We were then told by a very helpful person working there The building has been sold and is no long in use for accommodation. It is now housing people as a hostel. We were the 4th person that this had happened to on the day. Unfortunately due to this lack of information from the parties involved. We had to seek alternative accommodation for the night. Due to there being an event on so due the lack of hotels available weve had to pay nearly 3x the cost of our original booking

Property is fine to get your head down. Clean (which is the main thing for me) and basic. Nothing in the area at all. 15 min walk to train station into Liverpool.

Dockside Lodge

A good clean no frills hotel. Its self service with check in and entry keypad so no staff. The location is quite remote and no public transport nearby. A taxi into city center is about £8 to £10 so not too bad. No restaurants in the area.Only a small cafe downstairs catering for local workers not bad I suppose
