We have lived in the two bedroom apartment, that has big and comfortable bedrooms and a big living room. Big parking lot. Perfect stay to explore the surroundings (Newton House and Dinefwr Park are 10 Minuten away). Breakfast is fabulous. We had also dinner in the restaurant, that offers a very good children menu. Dinner was wonderful.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Beautifully appointed and spacious apartment. Clean and fantastic location in small quaint area of village. Staff at Reception and within the on-site restaurant were super friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic and home made. Chef accommodated specific request without hesitation and wait staff very attentive. The ONLY drawback was the stairs. There are LOTS of them (no lifts/elevators). From the on-site parking lot to Reception and then getting to our room - lots of stairs. Not a problem for me or my teens, but our friend walks with a cane and found it hard. If you plan to visit, and have accessibility needs, be sure to mention it so you are given room suitable to your abilities. I will return here though - beautiful, (and historic) hotel. LOVED IT.

We stayed at the purple Loft room for our wedding anniversary, and it's absolutely stunning! Huge, very comfortable bed, lovely decoration, lots of space and beautiful views from the window seat. I never wanted to leave!

Our room was clean and comfortable, we even had an iron and ironing board which was very useful. Hairdryer was good, lovely body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. Good quality bedding and towels. The staff were very courteous and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had an evening meal which was very good, very generous portions and good quality. The breakfasts were excellent. The car park has quite a few steep steps down to reception but it is possible to walk around the road and it’s easy to drop off and pick up outside of the hotel. It is in a central location and is in the centre of town. Excellent location for walking and sightseeing around the area.

Good welcome. Special request for room with a bath was met. Massive luxurious bedroom. Top end toiletries but dispensers could be lower down in bath area so they can be reached when bathing. Superb breakfast. Good to perfection. Excellent choice and served to you at your table. Delicious quality ground coffee. Always love our stay at the Cawdor. It never disappoints.
