"Limited parking at hotel, you’d have to get there early for a space. Checking was easy, not accessible hotel not lifts and a lot of stairs. Location good on high street with lots of shops about. Cleanliness of room was good, paid for deluxe room the advertised ‘king bed’ was two singles pushed together and was very hard, really bad sleep. Told as we arrived that they had no hot water, they told us we could go elsewhere if we wanted but it was a bank holiday weekend and no availability elsewhere no attempt of refund etc. the food at the hotel was poor also. Hotel is rather dated with fixtures, door locked and struggled to reopen the windows were letting in cold air when closed and an awful banging noise because of the wind hitting them "

"This property exceeded my expectations. The whole house is incredibly grand, comfortable and welcoming. Most important, it's clean and has fresh towels etc. This felt like a luxury retreat at a small Manor House.The views from the front of the house are excellent as you look straight onto the lake, beyond the front gardens and field. During our 3 night stay, we never ate out once as the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some amazing meals of our own, unlike some other homes I have previously rented. Whether you are there with friends, or as we were with Friends and children, this property is a great base to explore Bala and beyond in North Wales. We were able to walk into Town easy, around Bala lake and to the Railway while staying here. If there for longer, we would likely have ventured further out. The Cinema room was well liked by our children to allow us to watch a film in the comfort of our own home instead of paying to go out to pay to use other facilities. I would highly recommend this property and the hosts were very responsive and provide everything that you need to know. 5* property! "

"Lovely accommodation but a barking dog waking you in the morning isn’t what need on Easter Sunday. Great food but waiting an hr for simple breakfast to be served is silly "

"Well appointed, with everything we needed, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.The small gauge railway is a short walk across the lake top. The house is clean and well maintained. We had a small problem getting into the property, but the owner sorted it out very quickly. Overall excellent property."
