The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Best stay thus far in Scotland. Beautiful hotel, clean spacious rooms (we had a family room and it was absolutely perfect) and no shortage of spaces to spread out and enjoy a beverage, the scenery and/or simply relax after one of the many hikes Pitlochry offers. Son took advantage of he gym and sauna. Wish we had booked a second night here. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Beautiful property with the most friendly staff. Connor at front desk was extremely friendly and was able to help with everything we needed. The bar staff and restaurant staff in the morning were helpful and all with a smile. As we were traveling for days, the self serve laundry wash/dryer were very needed and easy to use. Would highly recommend this property."

"Really nice hotel, room was spacious with big bathroom, breakfast was good a lot of choice. Used the SPA which was lovely. Nice friendly staff will definitely come back."

"We had a nice one-night stay here and the family room we had was very well appointed and clean with quality fittings. The decor was good but could have been a bit more warm and inviting. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the breakfast was great - the food was well presented and fresh. There wasn't a bar as such but the reception staff were available to provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the small lounge area. Again, I think the public areas could have had better lighting and more cosy decor to provide a more welcoming ambience but overall a great place to stay in the lovely town of Pitlochry."

"Somewhat dated, ancient noisy lift, shower over bath was a tap attachment. Bathrooms were definitely overdue a refurbishment. Staff were very good and everything very clean, but a refresh wouldn't go amiss..."
