Sandstone Oasis, our fish-themed log cabin in Hocking Hills, sits atop a wonderful wooded hill with beautiful scenery all around. You’ll be surrounded by Hocking Hills sandstone that is part of the natural landscape, and a peaceful babbling creek just beyond the front of the cabin across the road. Enjoy the sounds and serenity of nature that are all part of your escape to Hocking Hills. The cabin is nicely secluded just off a gravel road on a 8 acre wooded hillside property! Must be 21 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons.

Relaxing, calming vacation

The cabin is spotless! The owners thought of everything we would need. Towels are plush, bed is comfortable, spa is warm and inviting and the area is close to all Hocking Hills attractions. Perfect for a couple in love!!

Nice get away.

Great relaxing place to stay. Only negative this is i wish the heat could be coltrolled better. Bathroom and bedroom were way warm and the living room was cool.

An absolute perfect experience from beginning to end.

Every detail seems to be accounted for, from the hot tub being ready to available fire starter, kindling wood, in between wood, matches, and a full pack of split wood to a full compliment of luxurious bath towels, we don't know how a cabin experience can get any better.

Sandstone Oasis is a winner!

Everything was just perfect. Clean, comfortable, and secluded. Just about 15 mins from everything. Fireplace and hot tub were much appreciated after long hikes on fall days!

Perfect Winter Getaway

My wife and I had a lovely time staying at the cabin. We came in while it was snowing outside and stayed bundled inside by the fire for the duration, which was the perfect retreat for us. We'll be back!

Quiet location, perfect for relaxing, yet close enough to enjoy local sights.

Cabin was clean with a quiet location. There were a number of things that could be improved upon such as: replace the outdated stove that had one broken burner and another broken knob, replace pots pans that were burned or had extreme scratches, replace scratched/microwave burned plastic plates. Also wanted laundry started before leaving, but no laundry pods provided; only 1 trash bag provided and no tablets for hot tub, though the instructions were to put a tablet in after each use.

Nice property and close to everything.

This is a nice property and overall we enjoyed our stay, we did have some major issues checking in and with cleanliness but I believe this was human error and not 100% the owners fault, however the communication was very difficult with the company. In the end they did address the issue. Assuming this was a one time error I think this would be a nice place to stay! There were plenty of linens and the hot tub was nice and secluded. The fireplace was a nice touch. Waking up to birds chirping all around rocking in the front porch drinking my tea was so relaxing!
