We stayed in the upper lodge. It’s a nice place, dinner was fine, and we enjoyed the campfire afterwards. Bed was comfy and shower good. I didn’t like totally hearing the next-door neighbor’s movie at night and the fact that you couldn’t turn off the porch light to better see the great stars. Also, we never managed to lock the door from the outside, and we couldn’t open the window for fresh air because the latch was high and a table was in front of the window. Finally, know that there isn’t easy access to the river right at the lodge.

Property is NOT located in Lolo, MT. It o is in Idaho! No phone in the room’s, no WiFi or cell service (unless you use a hot spot), can hear the neighbor’s having sex through the walls when trying to sleep. Cannot adjust the thermostat In the rooms, instead, have to use a space heater. Ground is all dirt, so when it rains or is wet, you get to track the mud into your vehicle and into your room. The only food is through their lodge, and their prices let you know that. Cheapest food is the fish and chips, which runs you $26.00 per plate. Some items, $46.00 and still charge for sauces and dips.

Loved our stay at Rustic Lodge! ❤️ The breakfast and bed were especially amazing. The drive through Lolo Pass on the way to the lodge was absolutely breathtaking—so beautiful and surrounded by clouds! ☁️🏔️ The lodge itself was clean and cozy, and the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. Definitely a lovely place to stay!

This is a great place. Great rooms, restaurant, gift shop, gas station, convenience store, and of course, the location is stunning. The rooms and beds were clean, comfy and charming. Nice toiletries, towels and fan. The stargazing here is tough to beat. We loved it. The only downside is that there is no cell service or Internet service, except inside the lodge. Yes, it's great to be "unplugged", but not very safe if you experience any emergency- medical, wildfire, storm. It would be nice to be able to reach out to loved ones or to access your next travel plans or maps to guide you around the area. If you are traveling with anyone who has certain medical issues or disabilities, this is a no-go. Since the lodge has cell/web service, it really isn't that difficult to populate it to the cabins and Starlink would also be a perfect solution in this location. The lodge does a great job at communicating ahead of time that they do not provide these services, but it seems like an amenity they should really consider upgrading to.

A great place to stay for me and my wife for an anniversary celebration during our move out west, and it was well worth the detour. The dinner we had was amazing...such well prepared food and great service. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, and seems to be a great place to stay either summer or winter. We came during a heat wave, and the AC did a great job keeping the cabin cool. We drive an EV and there is an EV charger on-site which is nice. Note that it is slower than most Level 2 chargers (it did not get a full charge even charging overnight for 12 hours) and there is a $20 fee to use the charger. Overall a great place to stay and we hope to be back again.

Property was amazing. You really feel unplugged while you’re there. The only thing was they didn’t have enough staff on hand for the restaurant. But the food was delicious and that Huckleberry Cheesecake was delicious.

What a wonderful gem we found in a far away place! We absolutely loved the rustic but comfortable layout of the property. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and had a bathroom with shower. The general store had anything we needed and we enjoyed having dinner and a drink in the onsite restaurant/bar. Plenty of activities to do including games, hiking, movies and nearby hot springs! We are looking forward to our next stay!

Extremely beautiful nice cabin great breakfast at the lodge. Huge huckleberry berry pancake. Delicious! Only complaint was bathroom was across the yard from my cabin. Not connected. Bath house was nice clean well appointed. Just not connected to room. Cabin is way comfortable. Nicely appointed.

The biggest issue was no AC in the room. Second to that the wifi was only in the main dinning. But put those aside and it was wonderful. Staff was great, cabins are super cute and peaceful. The food was amazing in the resturant. Nice having a market and gas if needed. Nice report. If they get ac and wifi boosters we would stay again.
