Family trip to London this was perfect for our family for a budget stay somewhere to get our heads down after a long day sightseeing. The room was clean beds made and fresh towels daily couldn’t ask for more for the price and location.

It was ok for one night, the location is indeed superb, just a 5 min walk from Kings Cross. The staff was kind and welcoming. However, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, you could feel every wire in the mattress digging into you, it would have been preferable to sleep on the floor! We were on the highest floor and it is quite the walk up, so might be an issue for people with low mobility or if you are carrying luggage. There was a fan in the room which helped (we also slept with the window open and it was quiet outside) and the shower/bathroom was good and clean. Room was small but ok if not carrying much luggage, I don't know where we would have been able to put a large suitcase if we had one. As mentioned, good for one night but I don't think I would have been able to sleep for another one due to the bed.

Let’s face it, this ain’t no Hilton. The age of the building means no mod cons such as lifts or air conditioning- in fact, the rooms are absolutely boiling all the time. Nothing seems to have been spent on the property since about 1995, though the location is good from Euston and Kings Cross. A particular highlight was listening to the smack heads and alcoholics fight each other in the park opposite the hotel at 3am each night. Enjoy!

I've stayed in many hotels in this area and thought this was excellent value for money. Super clean, ensuite toilet and shower, towels, in room coffee/tea and kettle, 24hr reception. You can easily pay twice as much in London for somewhere not as good!

Everything was good. The staff were friendly. The room was cleaned everyday. The only thing I would say is the park across the street is very active even at 3am, random people yelling throughout the night. Bring ear plugs to sleep.
