"Amazing tiny home with everything you need at the entrance to an amazing national park. A fun welcome basket that had something for the whole family. The bed was comfy and the rain shower was amazing. I would definitely stay here again"

"I had an overall pleasant stay at the Gateway Inn in Ashford, Washington. One of the biggest advantages of this property is its location—being right near the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park makes it incredibly convenient for anyone planning to explore the area. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and really adds to the experience. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There were a few drawbacks, however. The room we stayed in had a noticeable slant to the floor, which was a little unusual and took some getting used to. The internet service was also spotty at times, although the hotel does disclose this ahead of time, so it wasn't entirely unexpected given the location. Additionally, there were no TV channels available during our stay, which may be disappointing for guests looking to relax indoors after a day of exploring. That said, if your main goal is to enjoy the natural beauty of Mount Rainier and stay close to the park entrance, Gateway Inn is a convenient option with friendly service and a great setting. Just be prepared for a few rustic quirks that come with staying in such a remote and scenic area."

"Excellent stay! Property was exactly as described. Very quiet and peaceful, and extremely close to the National Park gate.One piece of advice... when the owner sends you the door code, save it! The cell service is spotty, and I was unable to retrieve the message with the door code. Luckily maintenance was doing some yardwork when we got there. He contacted the owner who unlocked the door remotely and sent a text message and message on VRBO. Excellent communication!We were only there for one night so didn't have time to heat up the hot tub, but everything else about the property was great. Would stay there again..."
