"Room: lots of space . Little dusty bed area and pictures but over all clean. Noise: wouldn’t recommend for people who have to leave at 3 am for flights etc . Very noisy doors . Slamming doors outside constantly . Not sound proof at all . Food: our server was excellent . Food was good seafood a bit over cooked but expected in a pub bar . Not much for pan fried haddock with cornmeal. Fish was excellent but picked off cover. Still waiting for my refund on damage deposit. Not sure why it wasn’t just help and not taken right off card . Hopefully will resolve itself . Airport was very close and easily able to get to departures. We would consider staying again perhaps if a room was away from race track and more secluded lol"

"The room (2 queen suite) was very big and comfortable. The coffee/tea available in the lobby was appreciated. Breakfast was good-standard for these hotels. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool was way too busy, loud and quite cloudy. The hot tub seemed dirty and the jets don't really work. We chose this location to avoid hectic downtown Halifax but it was a very busy place anyway."
