"Easy check in, great communications with the owners, and a GREAT walking location to all the local shops and diners! Sitting on the porch in the evening is very nice because you can watch deer walk right up to you as well."

"The house in Otter lake was wonderful! Located a short 10 minute drive from Old Forge it provides a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay for multiple nights. Plenty of space for our group of five people the interior is pleasantly decorated with unique artwork and a rustic cabin like feel. We especially enjoyed the heated floor in the kitchen and the upstairs view from the window of the winding road, it looked like a painting. The owner is great to deal with and gave us a free homemade loaf of bread, which was delicious! We would recommend this home to anyone and would be happy to stay there again."

"This spacious house is beautifully kept and a perfect place to stay. The entire home is kept very clean and feels inviting to guests. The kitchen is well-equpied for cooking and there is plenty of space to keep stuff in the fridge. The bathrooms are nicely maintained and have plenty of counter space. There is even a bidet in the half bathroom! It's pet friendly too so we were able to bring fido along with us as well. The house sits right against a river in the back and is withing walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the downtown area. Honestly you couldn't ask for a better location.The host was very responsive to our inquiries and responded almost immediately whenever we were inclined to reach out. We enjoyed our stay very much and we will definitely be coming back again in the future!"

"John is a wonderful host, helpful and accommodating. Spent 2 nights with 3 of my closest friends. The main comment to describe the main house was, "grandma's camp." (Rustic but homey) The ammentities really made the stay fun, set in a wooded landscape on the lake. The house was clean for the most part. The owner counts on the previous renters to clean the house, all the appliances, including the grill before leaving. We left the toaster oven, trash can and outdoor grill cleaner than we found it."

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."

"Very cozy home with plenty of room for everyone. Right in town within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Host communicated at all times and check in was so simple. Very quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife to enjoy."
