Although one of its near neighbors is a Salvation Army homeless shelter, it was a comfortable place to stay. It is easily accessible, and it is not far from such attractions as the Speed and downtown. It is also 5 minutes from the friends we were in Louisville to see.

Great quirky place! Loved the lobby bar but the real star was the staff. We only met two people while we were there but the pride they showed in their work was amazing. I was tired and didn’t catch names but the front desk young lady is a real gem. Keep doing what you are doing.

Good hotel

Liked this place. The staff was great and very nice. Has a nice lobby/bar area. Free parking onsite. The only thing was the bed was uncomfortable. At least the room we had needed a new mattress. You could feel the springs and both of us would sink to the middle laying on it. Needless to say we did not sleep good.

Chose for location, just an ok space

I selected this hotel for the location close to my daughter's house. I am glad to see them repurposing old buildings but this one is rather difficult to navigate. The main building smells like an old structure. We were in the annex which was ok but not as nice as the price should indicate. For the money, they should do better on amenities, like an ice machine in the annex, etc.

We were the only people in the hotel, a lot of drug addicts walking around, parking is far and sucks when you have alot of carry on stuff. Seeing pictures to actually being there in person is different; paint is peeling, a very moldy smell in the hall way and very dark, and also our lock for the room didn’t work so didn’t feel comfortable

Hotel was okay but the area is not so nice

The hotel itself was really nice on the inside but it is located in a not so great area of town. We had to walk down an alley to get to parking and each morning when we went to leave to go out for the day we were greeted by a rather large population of homeless directly across from the parking lot. There was no mini fridge or coffee pot in the room which was less than convenient. The rooms were very nice, comfy beds, nice bathroom and very clean. Overall we didn't really have any specific issues but the surrounding area did not make me feel very safe, especially coming back to the hotel late at night and walking the alley from the parking lot. We had easy access to I65 to get to the convention center which is where we were going and that was definitely a plus.

People great. Location bad.

Not clise to many attractions. For example, it is a 20 minute walk to Whiskey Row. People are nice and caring. My room was dark, weak lights combined with dark colors. It looked like something out of the movie Beetlejuice.

Unique Stay with Comfy Beds

This was a very neat, unique and Instagram worthy hotel. Check in was good but parking was a little tough. We had to park down around the alley and then walk all the way back around the front of the building (note the back entrance is to a spa and you can't get in there). Felt a little sketchy being so late and wish they would turn on the light for the alley we saw on the side of the hotel. Then once we checked in we were told our room was actually a separate building back down the alley. Little tough when it was raining and we were already tired. The nice decor extended to the extra building and our queen bed room with a sitting area was very nice and the bed was firm but comfy. I would stay here again but maybe check in first so you'll know where it's best to park.

Louisville vacation

Very fun decor and concept, location left something to be desired. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Get a new coffee machine, every fist batch they made for the day was cold.
