Great Hotel, Great Location

Great hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and even let us check in early. The bar and restaurant offered lovely food and drinks. The room we had overlooked the lake and was very large. All in all a wonderful place to stay and would highly reccommend.

Room was clean and spacious enough (3 beds) for our little family. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but filled our needs. We were able to find free parking place right in front of the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. The manager who I believe is the owner was very kind and hospitable. The location is perfect with plenty of on street parking. The hotel is very clean and I felt comfortable. I do t believe in the area you will find any better. This is top of the line for the area although may night be top of the line for American standards. I am very grateful for the service and hospitality I received at this very nice hotel

Pleasant stay in a hotel direct near the lake

We were driving through the lakes for a weak and on our way to Lago di Iseo we had a comfortable and restful night at this Albergo. The room was impeccable and still has the original woods and wardrobes. While reserving the room online we could not chose the view, so a room without view to lake was attributed to us, which is fine, but maybe you want to call them to be sure you get a view to the lake. The Albergo is right in the main square with nightlife, but nonetheless we were able to sleep without noise. When we arrived the receptionist seemed to be pretty stressed and we had to wait some time till he processed our check-in. However it was compensated by his recommendation of a nice place for our dinner. Beware there’s no parking place of the hotel itself, despite they saying that in the website. You have to park in the street (free during the night and start paying at 9:30, if needed). The breakfast was good and the waiters were very caring and sweet. Overall, it’s a great place with an attractive and fair price if you’re passing by the lake for one or two nights!

Mixed feelings about this hotel because what it truly lacks in architectural finesse you would expect from a 4* hotel, it compensates by the wonderful and helpful attitude from the staff, particularly from the restaurant manager.

Great location with a beautiful view.

Perfect for a one night stay in the city of Lovere. The location was super, we arrived in Lovere by bus from Bergamo and took a bus straight to the airport when left. It was easy to walk around the town, tourist information office and the lake ferry piers are just across the street. It is an old hotel and we liked the charm.

Nice place, easy to find

Hotels.com tells you to contact the hotel before arrival. We did but this led only to confusion. Just book and show up during check-in hours. The hotel parking was fully booked so we parked across the street at a reasonable price. The staff were all nice and friendly. Our room had a nice size and we had a wonderful view over the lake. The bathroom appeared outdated but everything worked. The food we had in the restaurant was okay but didn't amaze us. For breakfast, we got to pick what we wanted from a list with a nice selection of both bread, cake, eggs, charcuterie and fruit.

The service given by the owner of Casa di Paolo was bad. Upon arrival at the place she told us at first, we had to call upin arrival in front of the originally booked hotel Moderno where she would meet us, but instead of meeting us at the place indicated we had to go to a for us unknow bar where she was sitting. She was also not giving any support to us qith bringing our luggage to the room.

L albergo è in centro, fronte lago, molto bello... però...a causa di un guasto nn c era l acqua calda per lavarsi, e dalle 23.30 fino a tarda notte nn c'è stata la corrente elettrica. Questa mattina abbiamo ricevuto solo un...ci spiace! Potevano fare di meglio per scusarsi!

Ottima accoglienza, stanza molto ampia con affaccio sulla piazza e vista lago (andrebbe un po' rimodernato arredamento e bagno). Pulizia della camera e bagno buona. Non usufruito del parcheggio messo a disposizione al prezzo di 15 euro poiché trovato nelle vicinanze ad ore 9.30 12 14,30 19). Colazione sia dolce che salata nella norma. Nel complesso un buon soggiorno.

Abbiamo avuto una camera molto spaziosa con vista lago. Il prezzo ottimo. La colazione abbondante soprattutto dolce ma anche prosciutto (ottimo) e formaggio a fette sottili. Il presonale molto gentile. Consigliato.
