The lake view was great. We swam in it and it was cold but fun. We shopped locally and had a lovely three days and nights there. We had a great time in Arrowtown and Wanaka but hated Queenstown where we were ripped off.

Really lovely outlook from our room overlooking the lake. Our upper level room had a small balcony (other have huge outdoor areas) but all overlook the lake. Good size ensuite and a comfortable lounge where you can sit and watch tv. Restaurant was also really nice with a good selection to chose from. ...
