Pour une étape, hôtel au milieu de nulle part, au bout d'un chemin à travers champs. Chambre très "has been" avec de la moquette partout même dans la sdb, ce qui n'est pas très hygiénique vu l'ancienneté. Papier-peint, tentures et tapis d'il y a 40 ans au moins. L'hôtel propose une formule demi-pension mais l'option nous a été refusée à l'arrivée, probablement car nous avions réservé via Expedia. Cela nous obligeait à manger sur place mais le resto est très cher et la carte n'est pas extraordinaire (les gnocchis à 20 euros, la côte de veau à 32, non merci). C'est devenu une opportunité car nous avons mangé très très bien à petit prix ailleurs (mais il faut faire 10 kms et ils le savent). Le restaurant semble essentiellement fréquenté par des Suisses, les chambres semblent essentiellement louées par des couples qui souhaitent la discrétion (c'est au milieu de nulle part et nos voisins étaient... démonstratifs). Sur leur site, que des avis (trop) positifs, sans doute sélectionnés, autant savoir... Nous n'y retournerons évidemment pas. PS: je suis toujours généreux dans mes avis et je donne facilement 5* - ici, j'ai donné 2* mais je restais près du 1* : j'attendais mieux sans doute....

Comfortable and quiet

I stayed here based on reviews from other guests. They didn't let me down. I wanted a quiet and comfortable place to stay while I ventured across the border into Switzerland to see Porrentruy and other towns in the region. I arrived late and they left a key and instructions out for me. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and breakfast and dinner were great. It was a perfect spot for my trip. Thank you!

Bref séjour, dans un lieu calme et idyllique avec les premiers flocons. Excellente table à recommander, même si les prix sont déjà presque à la suisse ;-) (proximité oblige). Merci pour l'accueil !

Fransk....! Udemærket hotel, men madpriserne var Scweiziske. Personalet talte hverken tysk eller engelsk. Det lå fare out, så vi var "tvunget" til at spise der. Det var dyrt og vi kunne ikke bestemme, hvor vi ville sidde i restaurenten. Det bestemte hotellet..!

Excellent aspect, very little information,no restaurant till Wednesday,staff tried hard but seemed to lack any sense of direction . Wifi absolutely useless. We notice probably more than most as we are in the "people business ", the property has huge potential but lacks direction.

Mooi hotel in een zeer rustige omgeving.

We hebben erg genoten in dit hotel van de mooie kamer en het uitgebreide ontbijt. Verse eieren vers sin sap verschillende soorten brood en vleeswaren en kaas. Yoghurt en teveel om op te noemen.Heerlijk! We vonden het lekker rustig en hebben er lekker gewandeld en genoten van het landschap.

hotel isolé très agréable pour oublier le monde

Le sundgau est absolument inconnu et j'espère qu'il le demeurera encore longtemps et le Petit Kohlberg est une perle en son sein
