The room is very clean, spacious and has a great view of the Lucerne riverfront. It is very close to the Lucerne’s train stain (Hauptbahnhof) and the hotel has elevator. Breakfast is very good and the staffs are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel when you visit Lucerne.

This was the BEST part of our 2 week trip. Excellent location. Walkable to everything! Money exchange right outside the door. Train station steps away. Lake, steps away. Mountains to die for! Shopping, restaurants, churches, attractions all easily withinh walking distance. And so quiet for a big city!!! We loved it and will stay at Hotel Monopol when we return!!!

Great room. Two big windows and plenty of space to open our suitcases. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Very helpful staff. They arranged dinner reservations, gave us tea while we waited for the room to be ready, had apples for guests to take, and made us feel so welcome. Location is excellent! So easy to get around. Steps away from underground shopping, trains, boats, and beautiful scenery!

Great location. Right across the street from trains and buses. Staff was very nice and attentive upon check in. They even upgraded us without asking which was a nice and very welcome surprise. They were great to give directions and recommendations. We stored our luggage there the day we checked out and continued to explore Lucerne. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
