I could get transportation to and from the city and train station without any problems and it was just outside of the hotel! Hiwever, any gricery store, pharmacy, or laundry services were in the neighborhood. The breakfast was goid with a selection.

Samir at the front desk was incredibly helpful and a great ambassador for the hotel. The location is just OK (15 minute walk from the real city center) but free public transit runs all the time. Property is clean and rooms are airy with great windows.

We were notified upon check in a shower door was removed as a recent guest broke it. The manager offered to give my family (3 of us) free breakfast for both days of our stay which was more than fair and appreciated (I did not ask for anything)! I am grateful for the hospitality and generosity that was extended to us. The area is less than a mile from the center of old Luzern and we walked. The area is quiet and safe so this was not an issue.

As pointed out in other reviews, be aware that there is no AC. It can get very hot at night. The lack of AC aside, the hotel holds a good standard. The staff is very friendly and the walk into the city center is nice and short (15 minutes). You also get a free pass for the buss. All in all, a nice hotel, but very varm at summer time.

We walked from the train station but then took the bus from then on. There aren’t many amenities or restaurants nearby but we did find a nice walkable option called Militargarten where we had good local beer and the best bruschette we had on the trip.

Samer at the front desk was the best! He definitely went above and beyond more than once for the enjoyment of our stay. He even went as far as riding the bus with us and showing us which stop to take! (It happened to be the same bus he was taking but still, we were very grateful). The hotel was conveniently located for our needs and the beds were comfortable and clean. It was just right!

Fair stay for the price

Short weekend trip to Lucerne. Front desk was quick and friendly to get me checked in. Room is quite cramped and bed is extremely firm. Bathroom was relatively clean, but one can see damage near the windows and marks on the bedroom walls. Conviently located near the bus stop. Good for the relatively cheap price. A decent stay, moderately clean, but not very comfortable.

There is a faint drain smell in the building and room. However, the customer service is excellent! There is no supermarket nearby, but there is a restaurant conveniently located opposite the hotel.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff and nice communal area. Parking is available but due to location and layout some spaces are rather tight. Stayed with my three kids in family room on top floor. Large room with lots of space though room had two double beds instead of advertised four singles. No lift so had to carry suitcase up a reasonable amount of stairs to room. Really convenient for bus to Lucerne and beyond as stop right outside hotel. Would recommend to anyone.

Room was big enough for four. The bathroom spacious. Check in easy. No elevator. No AC, but the windows open making it cool at night. 20 min walk to chapel bridge. Bus stop outside the door. No laundry on site.
