"Great hotel right next to Telford International centre. The rooms are a little tired but the bed was very comfortable, with pillow choice too. The shower was amazing, powerful!!! Breakfast was very average. We requested a quiet room in what was a full hotel and we got it, end of corridor, no noise at all as we were next to what I think was a boiler or linen room, no neighbour!! We would stay there again, especially we paid £90/night for 2 adults and a child (2 double beds)."

"Nice older building. Despite the nicks, dings, old furnishings, and imperfections the hotel has a very nice atmosphere. Additionally, the staff are all exceptionally nice. I suggest visiting the bar if you enjoy a nice quiet conversation with a pint. There was a great selection of beers. I would highly recommend a visit to the Great Malvern Priory church. "A simple hotel in the middle of Stourbridge. Rooms are adequate in size, the bed is comfortable and there's a good shower in the bathroom. There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent. Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful."

"Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. Staff lovely and room quiet. breakfast good and grounds wonderful. "

"The suite accommodation was very interesting with the bed on a mezzanine floor. This was very comfortable and was the strongest positive point of the stay. Sadly the internet (which also controlled the TV) was extremely patchy and unusable. The restaurant (a pub dating back to 1560) was charming but had problems with service which was slow. Food was OK but nothing special. "
