  • This recently updated Okemo condo in the Solitude Village community is ready to be your ideal vacation getaway. Featuring an amazing great ski-in/ski-out location on the Promenade trail with plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably, every day here is an adventure. When you book this retreat, you and your friends will have easy access to the Solitude Express quad lift and the Morning Star lift, giving you unparalleled access to the slopes. However, there are plenty of amenities here to love as well! The Lodge has an indoor/outdoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a fitness center, a sauna, locker rooms, and a ping pong table.

    After fun days out and about, wind down with a coffee using the Keurig machine or coffee maker, then show off your cooking skills and treat your loved ones to mouth-watering home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Lounge blissfully in the living area as the fireplace creates a homey ambience. For another way to relax, the deck outside provides both fresh air and a gorgeous mountain view. When the evening comes to a close, know you'll get a good night's rest in any of the bedrooms, all of which include TVs to view as you lie down for the night.

Has everything you need for quick getaway

Great ski in/out location! Condo had everything you need, cute and clean. Perfect for quick ski getaway. Enough space for 4 adults and toddler.

All went well and few issues . Power was out but managers responded fast and lastly hot water had no pressure in the kitchen or the bath tub master bathroom. I am confident these items will be getting addressed. Otherwise great stay !

Perfect Location!

This unit was a perfect location for our trip. It is located in the solitude area, and had there been more snow, it would have easily been ski in ski out. We just needed to walk a little since the snow was lacking, but it was really easy. The unit was clean and had everything we could have wanted. The wifi was definitely glitchy so don't plan on doing tons of work. We used the day spa, it is a short drive away. The condo does have a keurig and regular coffee maker - I am including this because I was trying to see if there was a keurig and was not able to get a response. Would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed our stay

Very conveniently located property. Would have been nice to take advantage of ski-in / ski-out feature but due to lousy weather we needed to walk across the parking lot to get to the slopes. Clean, well stocked with dishes and two coffee makers! Water pressure lacking for hot water at kitchen sink. Door handles to the main unit are installed upside down, so at one point we thought we were stuck in the entry way. The owner may want to place a note instructing renters to push the handle up to enter the main part of the unit. Would stay here again.

Just okay

When we arrived for our 4:00 pm check in we entered the door code multiple times but it wouldn’t open. After spending 20 minutes on the phone with customer service we were told we would have to drive into Ludlow to a key box to get a physical key. Luckily the local property manager responded and gave us another code to unlock the door. We entered to find the water had been shut off. After contacting customer service again and getting another key code to unlock the utilities closet to turn the water on. We then discovered a water leak by the washing machine the property manager had us turn off supply to washer. This was the first hour! After that everything was just okay. It’s equipped like a cheap rental condo. Everything is cheap except the price!

Less than stellar

We paid over $1,500 for a couple nights here. We checked in around 4pm and found that the water had been turned off. Over the next 4 1/2 hours, I had to call the help number and maintenance people repeatedly before someone finally came around 8:30pm. Apparently they don’t have anyone on site so someone had to drive from far away to unlock the panel and flip the water switch. The doors in the unit mostly don’t click shut. The heat thermostat is broken and the heat wouldn’t come on until you put the thermostat at over 78 and then it would barely come on. Overall, this unit should never have been deemed ready to rent. It was apparent no one actually checked it or cleaned it because they should have very obviously known it had no water and broken heat.

Slopeside Ease

This two bedroom condo in the Solitude Village provides easy access to the slopes. We found everything we needed in the unit. The property manager was kind enough to give us an extra few hours to check out when our car wouldn't start. Thanks!

Solitude Stay

My family of 4 stayed in this beautiful property. It felt brand new. Easy on and off the ski trail. Beds were very comfortable and the fireplace made it cozy. Highly recommend for single family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While passing through VT a year ago, we made arrangements to lease Solitude Village F-204 in August 2016 to escape the heat in Florida. Overall, our experience was excellent. F-204 has, in our opinion, the best view on Okemo. The furnishings are very comfortable, if a bit worn. The linens and towels provided by the management company, are top notch, and the mattress on the king bed in the master was extremely comfortable. We had some guests for a few days who slept in the bunk room and reported that the beds were fine. There were a few minor issues, which the management companyaddressed and resolved promptly. They went out of their way to make our vacation pleasant. Thank you Dan, Matt and Gena. The town of Ludlow at the base of the mountain has plenty of good restaurants, but if you want to cook, Shaws grocery store has everything you'll need. If you have young children visiting, they'll have a blast at Jackson Gore's Adventure Zone. But it's not just for kids. Don't leave without going on a Segway tour. If you're looking for a vacation home on Okemo mountain, I recommend F-204, but don't try to get it in August 2017. It's already booked. We're coming back!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was adequate but did not appreciate asking us to check out at 9:30 am because you were sending up the cleaning service because you had another party checking at 3:00 pm, really? Asking the renter to take out the garbage, run the dishwasher etc. should be including in the price of the rental with cleaning service. IMHO
