Centric, clean, efficient. This hotel embodies Swiss efficiency and order! Perfect for a hub to visit Lugano and surrounding areas. The breakfast was plentiful and we even received a Lugano pass that makes city and regional buses and train free, and granted discounts on visits like Swiss miniature.

My single room was clean and in excellent repair. The hotel location is convenient to restaurants, sights and transport. The number 1 bus which goes almost everywhere I wanted to go stops directly in front of the hotel.

Hotel Petalozzi was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The rooms were large, modern and well appointed. It was very hot and humid when we arrived so we were very thankful for the air conditioning! The hotel is close to everything yet not directly in center which is nice. The staff was friendly and efficient.

It was ok, but not more. Feels more run down than it is. The House has Lots of charm, the rooms- not so. No duvet, just a thin blanket (with holes)it’s reasonable in Price and I liked the central Location. My verdict: it needs much more love and engagement. Staff at the reception was excellent. I will not go back.

Great location with lovely staff

Stayed on 2nd floor with front and side windows. Lots of noise in the park across the road but the windows and a/c block it. Staff is excellent, cold breakfast had lots of options and for an extra 8F you could have scrambled eggs. Great location to walk to everything.
