"Breakfast was a very good and the room was charming. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We did find the shower ackward to stand in, because the tub narrowed. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"We loved our stay at B5 boutique! Such a unique and inviting environment. Friendly staff, quiet and comfortable. The location was perfect for access to the train station. Would have stayed longer had our itinerary allowed!"

"The Mandarin Oriental this is not. This is a clean, well run, small European hotel, not new, but well maintained, with a very friendly and astonishingly multi-lingual staff. The clientele appeared to be well-to-do couples speaking French and German. The food in the restaurant was not flaming or foaming, but the lasagne made with fresh pasta was very nice, as was my glass of red wine. The hotel is within spitting distance of both Hertz and the train station. If you have reason to stay overnight in Lugano, this seems like a logical and pleasant choice."

"Fabulous boutique hotel. All the staff were exceedingly courteous and helpful. Rooms have incredible views above Lake Lugano and it wasn’t an issue about not being located in the actual town itself, in fact it was a positive, with the hotel running a courtesy shuttle minibus down to the town and back 3 times daily. Restaurant absolutely wonderful with incredible food and wine choices. Bar offers an alternative more relaxed eating option either inside or outside on the lovely terrace. Would highly recommend."
