DREAM HOTEL SARANDA

10/10 Excellent

"After six hours on a bus from Tirane, arriving at the Dream Hotel was like arriving home. We were met with a very welcoming smile and offered waters. Once checked in, we were assisted in showing us our room. The room was modern and had an almost L shaped balcony with sitting and table. There was also a dry rack to hang swimsuits and beach towels. The breakfast was delicious. The staff could not be more welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. The hotel is well located on a quiet area. Only a few steps to main street. About 15 minute walk to the port and about 20+ minutes walk to the promenade. Beach access in several locations. Note the beach is not a coastline. You can rent lounge chairs from the hotels with direct access to the beach. I highly recommend this hotel for a true quiet and restful experience."

Bougainville Bay Hotel

"The staff and hotel overall was good. Decor was very colorful and abstract. Breakfast was good and the gym had a decent amount of equipment. However a few things to consider if booking. For one it is not as accessible going from hotel rooms to lobby/pool/gym/beach. Not sure if the elevator was not working in that area or if it just does not go to the lower levels. I had to climb at least 3 flight of stairs to get from the beach area to the pool and gym. There is a ramp but it is quite steep. My room was on the first floor but the lobby was on the 4th floor and in order to get to the dining room for breakfast you had to go down a flight of stairs from the lobby. Understanding that the building is on a cliff and requires multiple floors it was a bit challenging."

"The hotel was amazing, extremely clean and the breakfast was lovely. No bar at the pool area but you can order using a QR code and drinks were brought up, only thing missing for me was pool bar snacks. Staff were friendly and welcoming, always there to help, would definitely stay again. If you are booking a sea view, make sure its on the 3rd floor and above as there are two massive trees in front of the hotel, unfortunately I wasn't able to change my room."
