"It was certainly a beautiful hotel. It needs to be renovated. I was told that this winter they are closing down for a massive renovation project adding a lift and bringing the hotel up to par. The staff were excellent. The pool was divine, as was the general out door area and the bar was elegant but fun. Looking forwards to trying the renovated version. If travelling to see lake Como, it is a fair distance and generally a car is needed."

"I was really impressed with this hotel. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection to choose from. It is also an eco-friendly hotel, which makes staying there feel even better. I would highly recommend this hotel whether you are travelling alone, as a couple, with a group or as a family."

"Staff were lovely especially the the bell hopper who was a really welcome relief in the summer heat with his glass of chilled water. Thank you. The only complaint was that the triple room that we had was slightly on the small size, but it must be said we had our best sleep with the curtain blackout blinds."
