"Beautiful authentic Swiss experience large rooms decorated in Old swiss style. The keeper of the house greeted us warmly. we picked up our key in a cabinet outside of the main door after hours in a glass which was so refreshing to find someone who trusts people the way USA used to be. Everything about the room was lovely. it was nice to sleep with the windows open in the cool evening even with the European heat wave. then went on to Schnitzel house restaurant in a neighboring town for a...

"I stayed here on business with a colleague. The Manager is extremely eloquent and we shared a lovely drink with him at a local bar he was attending. Attention to detail is everything and a way of life here. The way their staff are looked after here is inspiring, the quality of Swiss life shines through is the service. I wouldn’t book anywhere else locally, I’d always choose this hotel in future, given the choice."

"The hotel was spotless. Staff was very helpful. Excellent restaurant and bar. If you are a car enthusiast you definitely need to stay here the owner has an incredible collection of vintage sports cars and some modern cars the hotel is basically a car museum, also in the basement of the hotel there is a small version of Ripley's aquarium stunning examples of native freshwater fish and huge tanks quite an interesting walk through. Our room also had a beautiful outdoor terrace and view of the town."

"We were so glad we stayed at teh Sternen Muri. At the beginning we worried we were too far away from Bern Center. But once we took the Number 6 tram(I think that is the correct number) from near the clock tower, we realized it was not far at all. The hotel was extremely clean and well run. The a.c. was fine and we loved the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant with a nice little balcony."
